Xbox Live is on the fritz.

This just started about ten minutes ago. I am in Zune, and I get the notification that I am disconnected from XBL. About 10 seconds later, I reconnect. This has happened for the past 10 minutes. And no, my internet is not disconnecting because I am still connected to the computer. Any thoughts?

According to X-Box Live, there aren't any problems and everything is up and running, so the problem could be at your end.

How is your X-Box connected to the internet? If it's wireless, then there could be some interference that is causing live to disconnect.

Another possibility is that there could be some heavy internet use in your house or area/ISP that is causing X-Box Live to disconnect, but leaves enough bandwidth for your computer to still be connected.

It's been happening to you too? Is your ISP Comcast? They've been giving spotty service to anything wireless in the whole house save laptops as of late. My XBOX will disconnect if I'm on the dashboard for too long, or on any particular non-MW2 game for more than an hour. If I weren't totally sure that M$ isn't trying to get me brainwashed into thinking about MW3 like a drooling zombie, I'd blame them. But since I know they aren't, I'm thinking Comcast be trollin'

I'm having The same issue . It say's you must be connected to xbox live to play online. So I exit the game and at the dashboard I'm online again??? WTH!
