Best bet is to check XboxLive's website and see if there's any downtime scheduled. Or the servers are having a brain fart and everyone is running round in panic right now.

Check your internet connections and there's probably some minor maintenance or something going on because i can login to Live perfectly from my house

Live is fine, it just looks like the multiplayer aspect of the games is down.

I dont know if their down for i have a PS3.

But if your mates live near you and they all cant connect it might just be your area is down for updates or something, and not the whole network.
