Does anyone have a great moment they loved on XBOX Live? Like listening to the kids scream how rubbish you are before you appear round a corner and sticking a rusty stick up their jacksie.

I always loved how people on XBL always say 'noob','your going down' and 'these guys are crap look at their rank. Five minutes later when you kick their arse all over the place they scream haha

When I'm playing a game with friends, that is pretty much all.
Screaming kids are annoying espically when they are playing MATURE GAMES (stupid parents not knowing how to disapline*); and there seems to be alot of greifers on the games I've played lately and alot of people being "1337est", thinking they are better than you and yelling at you when you've finished a game with them, it's annoying and stupid.

No friendly competition, just angry people.

I used to really, really enjoy Xbox Live, back in the day.
Original Xbox, Rainbow Six, it was great, everyone was very mature, up for a laugh and no one was abusive. It was a good time.
Be damned if I'm paying for it now though.

I'm fortunate enough to have a great group of LIVE friends that I play all of my online titles with. We always have an awesome time playing games, and usually kick some tail when we play any game vs other people.

Yeah, there seems to be a lot of crap that people can get away with saying over Xbox live, but no one seems to report them.

I tried to in the past but theres no point, because simply the amount of people doing it. I leave a game join another one and BAM! more kids shooting crap out of their mouths

You guys must be playing the wrong games. Maybe 2% of HD Remix players are trolls, 12-year-olds or idiots; the rest of them are glad to share a joke or some playing tips.

I can understand if people do it in their small little group of people they know and actually know if they say something racist, sexist or what-ist; because I assume they don't really mean that and are joking.

But because small kids are yelling it out over Xbox Live and have no regards for other players it's just wrong.
Makes me wonder where the hell the kids parents are, wouldn't they hear and then give them a mouthful?!

Oh yeah don't get me wrong its not like as soon as i hear it i go insane, its mainly people who say it over and over and over again now that drives me mad i'm not bothered about foul language, but where are the parents when you need them? i bet right next to them encouraging them

I don't mind kids screaming how awesome they are because it motivates me even more to squeeze out the tasty bullet of gaming justice. But on the racism front, I came online to play a game, not to listen to the short-minded shouting the N word and P word and abusive aggressive language

This was recent, about two days ago; I was in a game of Halo3 (because I was recently playing with friend, don't play it much) and I was playing with people I didn't know, so I had my Microphone off, I don't usually speak in a big group with people I don't know.
But in the game there was a dude, acting like a pedofile to a little kid saying "Ever been with an older man."
Sure everyone else found this funny, but if I was the kid in that group I would have been slightly disturbed plus if I was the parent of the child I would probably go crazy; I wouldn't want a child of mine playing with people like that.

Agreed majority of people in real life would not go around and say (wouldn't last 10 minutes) so why do it on xbox live? sometimes i love the wii aspect of gaming because i don't have to hear a word from them

I've had a lot of great cod4 moments...but one that really stands out: "I had just been recruited by KOG and they took me to a match of Seek and Destroy. There was a sniper at the end of the street(map: crossfire) and he was the last guy, and so was I...I put away my assault rifle and pulled out my deagle. After an exchange of shots that nearly resulted in my death I found myself with no remaining ammo and with one bullet left in the deagle. I though to myself that this would be the PERFECT shot...I walk out on the balcony line the shot and fire. It hits him in the head and kills him...My new clan started screaming and the sniper started cursing...gaming perfection...

Every living second of Left 4 Dead, trying to kill Johnson on Halo 3 and playing GTA4 with my friends.

Plus when the people who go on a game all the time with a big Rank think they are good, then I'm like, "Rank means nothing, *****" then kick their ass.

Now thats just messed up, i'm not a parent well not yet but i would never let my children play with people like called me overprotective but theres a fine line between funny and just sick

I think the most fun I had on Live was during the "Friends and Family" part of the Halo 3 beta test. Firstly because it felt like gaming with a purpose, tracking down bugs and helping refine the game for final release... but also because everyone was just as dedicated, and just as involved in making the game better for everyone else. No shriekers, no rank-whores, no griefing, no would-be Napoleons... just gaming. Man, that was a sweet time, even with the inevitable weirdnesses that crop up in a beta.
