I'm noticing that the sort of people who are playing this are the type who count only Final Fantasy XIII as the only JRPG title they've played in the last 7 years.

Everything you described is pretty much standard for something like Disgaea or Tales, and it also doesn't seem to have anywhere close to the humour of the former or the world depth of the latter.

So, yeah, its better than FFXIII. Big accomplishment.

Played Disgaea, it's terrible.

Played the Tales games, they're pretty damn annoying too.

Which Tales game did you play? If you played: Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the new World, then thats a problem.

If I don't see any release in America in one year, I'm importing and modding my Wii. And i might tell NOA to *bleep* off.

I haven't seen any sales figures, but I would suspect that it will directly influence whether or not it sells in NA.

You should probably keep tabs on how the game is doing over here.

If a game did that well in Europe, there is no reason why it wouldn't in NA.
