We should ask him to do a standup comedy act and record it. He'd knock the house dead.tellmeimaninja said:Really? They're just as averagely funny as ever. He needs a different show, because I think he's funnier when he doesn't have to simply come up with a new way to complain about things every week.
I LOVE Bob and Tom. We get their show here in Louisville, and when I get up early enough I listen to it.tehroc said:The dick jokes are a little sophmoric but then this forum is that way generally. If I want dick jokes I'll go listen to those two 60 year old high schoolers Bob and Tom.
Good for you, I fucking hate them with a passion, fucking laugh tracks.Uberjoe19 said:I LOVE Bob and Tom. That's not exactly how it works, just because something is free doesn't make it immune to all critisism (and doesn't mean that people can't suggest improvements or have opinions), in my opinion, the OP sort of has a point and sort of doesn't (I'm on the fence).Atheist Pope said:It is free, you therefore have no right to complain.
while your point may be valid, my point is that, since you are not paying for the service of watching the videos. Xbox Live users pay for that service, and so when a bug or something happens to annoy users, they can complain for they expect the best out of something they are paying for. An online video series that posts for free can be delivered however the poster (Yahtzee) would like. The viewers may complain amongst themselves but the author has no obligation to change.Iron Mal said:That's not exactly how it works, just because something is free doesn't make it immune to all critisism (and doesn't mean that people can't suggest improvements or have opinions), in my opinion, the OP sort of has a point and sort of doesn't (I'm on the fence).Atheist Pope said:It is free, you therefore have no right to complain.
Any series or production that goes on for a long time (and sticks to a particular style) will begin to seem repetative and boring to some, especially when it comes to humour (for examples, look at Little Britain/the Fast Show), it's natural that some members of the fandom will want more (and demand changes of direction or style) while others will demand that it stay the same (and view any changes to their show as evidence of it going downhill).
Overall, you can't please fans, so the best Yahtzee can do is try to make something he's satisfied with (given his usual egotistical nature, I'm sure he's already doing that).
