Nearly every person on this website came because of his videos, myself included. Yahtzee is the single greatest force on this site when it comes to dragging in viewers, so it's no surprise that people try to be like him. You can tell even by looking at avatars, the majority of them that aren't anime are either the ZP imp or some snapshot from the show.

As for the points he makes, I actually find that a good deal of what he says when he's not reviewing games is actually pretty valid. While most of his videos are hate speech intended to be funny, his articles usually have at least a kernel of truth to them.

Yahtzee reminds me heavily of Charlie Brooker and ultimately Victor Lewis Smith.

Kind of hard to find examples of Victor Lewis Smith's stuff as it is pretty old and rather obscure. Best I can do to give you an idea..

i came here for Zero punctuation for the first time way back in early 2008 i think, now i come for daily drop........ dont know why.......... its just that it is entertaining to watch something get dropped on its head after a stressful day at work, if you know what i mean. i still watch ZP occasionally, mainly just for the laughs.
