Huffington Post [http://www.rainmaker.com/?/site/news/82] and have come straight here, as there are so many other people like me who will be very happy. Now... is it wrong if I still have a crush on Bob at 30 years old?
No, it's quite normal. Well, unless you are a girl - then it's expectedIndomitableSam said:Now... is it wrong if I still have a crush on Bob at 30 years old?

OK, there is still hope for you. You're still not getting an invitation for my birthday party, though. And you don't get to come in, either.Owyn_Merrilin said:I loved (and still love, it holds up surprisingly well even today) Beast Wars
OK, to be honest, the first season was just rubbish, then it got a bit better but it was still sort of meh on many occasions, after the timeskip, it really picked up speed and pretty much all of it was awesome. Then there is the finale (of sorts) that was also quite good.Owyn_Merrilin said:Or at least the early seasons before the timeskip or whatever it was that caused the kids to grow up happen, and I didn't watch enough of the ones after those episodes to really remember much of it.
The main problem is that ABC censored a shit tonne in the first couple of seasons. Hell, they caused an uproar when they argued that Dot kissing Enzo would promote incest! A rather funny gag is when Bob uses a command on glitch that is the initials of said censor board to pass harmlessly through glass as crashing through it was not allowed on children's television.DoPo said:OK, to be honest, the first season was just rubbish, then it got a bit better but it was still sort of meh on many occasions, after the timeskip, it really picked up speed and pretty much all of it was awesome. Did any of that stuff make it to UK shores? It was my favourite cartoon at the time (if anyone from the UK on here remembers CITV from back then) and I've been hoping to get to the end of the story someday. I was just starting secondary school in 1994...Saulkar said:There were still loose ends to cover after the two direct to DVD/VHS movies
I am not sure... they are in their entirety on youtube right now but I do not know if I am allowed to embed them. I will give you a link to their wiki pages and then you should have no trouble finding them on youtube.Zeokage said:Did any of that stuff make it to UK shores? The beloved '90s cartoon "Reboot" is getting a reboot.
B.C. animation studio Rainmaker Entertainment announced this week that it has renamed its TV division Mainframe Entertainment and launched development of a sequel to the first-ever fully computer-animated series.
As far as it being animated, no, the plot was left on a cliffhanger even after the two TV movies. There /may/ have been a conclusion in comic form, but I don't know. All I know for sure is a few years ago, cartoon and animation forums all over the internet blew up because there were rumors of a movie that would wrap up the plot, and when that fell through (I think it may have had something to do with Megabyte's voice actor dying), they were planning on getting the story out as a web comic. I have no idea if the comic was ever made, though.Sniper Team 4 said:Did they ever finish the first Reboot? The last episode ended on a cliffhanger and I never heard anything else about it. For all I know, Megabyte is still in control of everything. Or did that change in a comic or something?

The comic was done. It's called Paradigms Lost but it makes no sense. It's supposed to take place after the Season 4 movies but nothing explains the leadup to it and then there's minor issues like Glitch being a generic v1 voice command keytool instead of the upgraded v2 neural interface it became in the second movie. If the comic is to be believed then SOMEHOW Megabyte escapes and it's because Bob let him go, and SOMEHOW a rebuilt Mainframe succumbs to a zombie virus outbreak int he meantime. Neither of which is even remotely referenced in the show (seriously, look at Bob at the end of the second movie. He's going to end Megabyte for at the very least the virus taking the gloves off let alone what happened to him) and the system going from freshly restored to post apocalyptic with no explanation is jarring.Owyn_Merrilin said:As far as it being animated, no, the plot was left on a cliffhanger even after the two TV movies.
