Alright then... I have nothing against beastiality or paedophiles themselves.
I don't agree personally with what their lifestyles, but at the same I feel sorry for the people having to live such a horrid, shunned, outcast existence.

Wow...you're really tryin' to make people not like you aren't ya...and yet strangely you are seemingly sure they're goin' to hate me? Odd....

To the guy who made this thread, what is up with saying "th'"? It doesn't make any sense to shorten a word that is only three letters long... =\
please read post #39...i really don't wanna repost all that again when that post pretty much covered it......

*edit*

ok...i somehow completely screwed this up....the post 39 refference was supposed to be toward Nannernade, not no oneder....i can't see how to salvage this post so please delete it from your minds *all jedi-hand-wavy*
Why don't you let it die already. You misquote me, and that's just annoying. You're just making yourself look worse, you know. I mean, everybody's just gonna feel sorry for you.

-The Star Wars Prequels: (my interest in the entire gorram saga was th'jedi order so forgive me for finding the trilogy that actually has more jedi in it appealing...)

-Smallville: This one's the funniest on my list because i'm such a hardcore anti-Superman/pro-Batman fan...yet i found the show all kinds of entertaining, especially the later seasons when they introduced Green Arrow who is INFINATELY more interesting than Clark...and side-note, Michael Rosenbaum is THE GREATEST ON-SCREEN LEX LUTHOR EVER!!!

-The Matrix Films (yes, all 3 of them): I'm so tired of all the people that rant about "Oh, the first one was great but the 2nd and 3rd were SO HORRIBLE!"

-Linkin Park (and yes, i'm including "Minutes to Midnight" and "A Thousand Suns"): True, they don't sound like they used to; true, they're gettin' pretty politically-heavy in their material, but it hasn't stopped from being good/original music!!!

-Ke$ha: actually, i'm not sure if this one counts...though i'm a metalhead and have been for a very long time, i do find one out of every (perhaps) 572 pop-songs catchy...i actually think most of what Kesha does is horrible, but for some reason one of her songs in particular i just find catchy...can't explain it, but there y'go...i've also managed to find a few good ones out of:
Star Wars/Jedi: I walked into the movies expecting lightsaber duels. None of the three disappointed. The Jedi Order, however, is practically the opposite of the Jedi Order of the original movies, so it was more like reading someone's fanfic. I know, I know, "how it was always intended," that excuse is so dry.

Still, as action movies with epic lightsaber battles, only the middle one came close to disappointing. And I liked Jar-Jar. He was far less stupid than the Ewoks.

Smallville: The first season or so was bleh. I watched it and almost never looked back. But you're right about Luthor. Plus, his characterisation made me feel Lex could go either way, rather than just being a mustache twirling bastard.

Ke-Dollar Sign-Ha: I like Tik-Tok. It's just an earworm. People who complain about the lyrical content need to listen more closely to other pop. Also, when she's not being autotuned, she has a decent singing voice. It seems it's a deliberate choice.

actually th'one i was referrin' to was "Take it off"...just because the chorus reminds me of th'song my buds and me used to sing when we were kids...

"There's a place in France, where th'naked ladies dance..."

there was more to it, but i forget...

-I loved Shadow the Hedgehog
-I say I hate the music my peers (in school) listen to, but I like a few songs (Ex: Eminem's Toy Soldiers, Fort Minor's Remember the Name to... name a pair)
-I enjoy Fallout New Vegas more than Fallout 3, merely for the story and dialogue.... and cuz Veronica and Boone are awesome
-Cars was a great film
-I like EVERY Pokemon generation, and I grew up playing Red
-I liked Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core more than FFVII

Halo 3: ODST -- Sooo many people seem to think that just because it was short and could have been an expansion pack the game was crap. I on the other hand loved it to no end and consider it my absolute favorite Halo game (and yes, I have played CE and Reach, the supposed "best" games in the series).

Avatar -- Yeah it's generic and unoriginal. Yeah it's not much more than eye candy. Yeah it's not the GREATEST MOVIE EVAR like so many of the less intelligent-kind liked to claim and hype it up to be. I still loved the movie though, as while it wasn't the best movie I've ever seen it still was well made and extremely entertaining.

The A-Team (the 2010 film) -- Ok, so I might not be the best person to comment on this movie since I've never seen the original show. However, I have to perform a *head-desk* every time I hear someone complain about it being too "shallow" and crap like that. It promised to be nothing more than a silly action film that doesn't take itself too overly seriously (unlike, say, The Expendables), and quite frankly I'd say it completely delivered on that promise. Plus, it sure as hell did a better job at being a "shallow" action film than anything Micheal Bay has put out in recent years...

The only reason i haven't seen that one yet is because my dad was a big fan of th'series when i was a kid, and i remember watchin' it with him. I swore to m'self that i wouldn't see th'flick without my dad around since th'series just reminds me of him, and with us livin' in different states hangin' with him's a bit of a challenge. Th'point i'm tryin' to get at is i only haven't seen it because i won't without my dad...

While I can agree with most of your points I still think you should be publicly flogged for liking Twilight.

That being said I tend to like a lot of musical groups with female lead singers : Evanescence, Paramore, Flyleaf, etc.

Michael Bay, except for Transformers 2. The Island, Armageddon, Pearl Harbour, Bad Boys, and Bad Boys II were all great movies.

Tron: Legacy. It's not hated, but why aren't more people going crazy over this? It should be as big as Star Wars was when it came out.

Pop music in general. I even admit that the Black Eyed Peas, while being one of the dumbest bands in existence, are great fun.

All three Matrix movies are good.

Call of Duty: Black Ops.

Ubisoft games; I don't care about the DRM.

I'm like you. I love all three Matrix movies and the Star Wars prequels. Also, this may not count but I LOVE Harry Potter and I'm 17, almost 18. I also found the Twilight series a good read at the time. Yes, I agree that she has terrible ideas but damn is she a good writer.

Star Wars prequels were good on.

Twilight I'm not so tight with, but i'll let it pass.

Linkin Park and Kanye West are pretty good, though I wouldn't call the former high quality musical art (haven't listen to enough Kanye to say that about him though).

The Matrix sequels I can understand why people liked the second one but seriously the third one. With the exception of the whole opening gun fight where they were running on the cieling and the battle of Zion the rest of the movie was trash. Plus it also contains probably the worst ending to a series ever.

Well yeah, that was the intent of the song.

I also like that one, I just couldn't think of it. I keep thinking of "Your Love is a Drug" or whatever it's called, and I HATE that one.

yeah me too...i drive a cab, and have a lot of cd's i'll rotate in and out t'listen to in th'cab while i'm workin'...the depressin' part to me is th'fact that if you put one group with a female lead on th'radio, most think it's someobdy else...

ie: I put in Within Temptation, or We Are the Fallen, and everybody assumes it's Evanescence....or when Paramore first hit th'scene, everybody thought they were Flyleaf...

There's a Latin proverb that says it all:

"There's no accounting for taste."
Wiktionary said:
1. When it comes to subjective matters of taste, people have wildly different opinions.

2. Disagreements about matters of taste can't be objectively resolved.
