I am sadly missing sunday roasts... Even though I'm not of the English... I'm an irish/scottish/welshman, but I do live in a more, English imbued area of Canada, and I believe one of my step-greatgreatgrandmothers was english... or something... dunno how that works but i got used to them being an occasional thing... been years, they are indeed fucking awesome.

Seems like you're trying to write Cracked articles. Too hard.
What?

Having pictures with captions makes something a cracked article now?
Oh, because the format isn't identical?
I don't know if you've ever read an article from anything before, but cracked isn't the first thing to write stuff, then add funny pictures with captions.

But that's ok, I can accept criticism.

I can also comepletely ignore it.

My grandmother was English by blood, and she taught my Mom how to make an EXCELLENT roast dinner with Yorkshire pudding. Sadly, my mom never seems to make enough to satisfy me, though that's probably because yorkshire pudding is the best. EVER. Making a breadbowl out of it? Genius! I MUST TRY THAT!!!

But hey, at least SOME Americans can experience the joy of pure awesome on Sundays. :D

I may not be English but as England's adopted child from France, we Canadians are also familiar with the amazingness that is Yorkshire pudding. Unfortunately my family only has it on rare occasions. Every time we do though, I thank God that the English took us from France

What is transparent exactly? That you've obviously never read anything other than Cracked.com?

If it's similiar, then it's similiar, I couldn't give a toss if you think I'm trying to mimic the style, because I know that I'm not.

Which is why you keep trying to convince me? Seems like you're not convinced yourself. I mean, if you're going to plagiarize the entire style you might as well put a bit of credit to them.

Holy crap, I want that yorkshire pudding plate roast!

You speak wise words my friend. On a side note, anyone who doesn't eat a roast dinner with
gravy needs to get out.

EDIT: On a side note, is there a thread like this on the english breakfast? if there is, I want to see it, and if there isnt, why the hell not!?

Right, because Cracked.com were the first guys to ever write in that format.

I don't care who wrote what and how, all I know is that I had a Yorkshire Pudding today and I was sat there thinking, "You know what? Sunday roasts just aren't proper without a good Yorkie pud." - Thank you internet for confirming my mindbrain thoughts!

True story, Mike Chapman wrote a song about them which Tina Turner later sang...

I've done one on fish & chips and tea & crumpets.

The English breakfast may or may not be by next one.

It depends on how much you pay me what I feel like doing.

I, in good consience, can not take Britishness away from another individual.

It would not be proper.

I'm fairly sure the opposite is true... he's got an infinite amount of Britishness about him, and we poor lackeys are here to absorb the excess in the faint hope that we may one day attain his levels of godliness! *hrk* LOL

So where exactly on that bread plate is the yorkshire pudding, furthermore what the hell is this pudding of the "across the pond" gods?
...

The 'bread plate' is the Yorkshire pudding.

I just...

I can't...

If anybody needs me, I'll be in the angry dome.

...Ill join you.

And why the f*ck would you put gravy on your yorkshire pudding, it's perfectly good when its plain, and I know it may be wrong to make it plain, but it's my taste I like it like that....never mind, I like my yorkshire pudding plain and without gravy, it just ruins the texture and the taste.

We have 'em in Australia too, due to the fact that my family came from England!

The sooner we invent Yorkshire pudding flavoured noodles, the better.
