I would have a Necromancer to be my friend in the Zombie apocalypse. He could quite possibly control them all, or if all else fails, make our own zombies to fight the original zombies.
For weapons, i'd have an exo-suit/power armor/mecha to control, and I would have nothing but energy weapons.

If you are already good at jumping then it wouldn't be hard to learn the rest of parkour, not much training is needed, the main hurdle is those damn mental barriers, alas the spartan laser can not destroy barriers of mental composition.Inverse Skies said:

I'll take the slow unintelligent zombies
a Quake-style lightning gun

First of all, I'd choose for Left 4 Dead zombies, since they don't grow weird parasite things when you blow their head off.
My weapon of choice will be the Power Star from Super Mario Bros., so I can kill zombies by simply touching them.
And in case my star runs out, I will take a robot with me: namely a giant armoured, nuclear equipped, heavely armed giant mecha with laser eyes and a jetpack. Also, I will be sitting in it.

I'd get me a superpowerful revolver, the Arbiter as my alien sidekick and I'd get the girl I've always had a crush on -name censored- to be my female heroine who as it turns out will be my eventual love interest.
The main reason I'd pick the Arbiter is that after the events of Halo 3 he became the ultimate unquestioned leader of an endless supply of strong powerful reptilian alien warriors, with hyper advanced future weaponry and shield generators and thousands of fleets worth of battle ships who at his order can come down rescue the civilian populace and then unleash hell on the zombies.
They took out both the Covenant and the Flood, zombies would be weak as piss by comparison.
Frankly the idea of taking any other approach is pretty strange to me.
