A mixture of stupidity and disgusting.

First off, in a non-serious manner, I must chuckle that people think they don't have enough DLC to buy.

Anyway that's brand loyalty at it's finest. It'll bite them in the rear sooner or later.

I don't know, I wouldn't say have no right, but I'm not entirely sure what complaining is going to accomplish. They aren't actively sticking their middle fingers up at the huge amount of cash to be thrown at them the moment it goes on the PSN. It just doesn't work, and either people complain that it isn't out, or people complain that they release a buggy pile of shite that messes up their save games. They know it's a problem and are working on it, I don't really know what more people expect them to do.

Ah. From the keyboards of idiotic fanboys, straight to or eyes.

Seriously though. To suggest a gamer being dicked out of content isnt a valid complaint is just sort of bullshit. I read all those comments in Jim Sterling's mocking idiots voice.

Blegh, I don't know what's worse: that Microsoft puts a stranglehold on DLC by threatening to blacklist developers if they don't comply, or how badly gamers seem to miss that point as they go out of their way to be morons.

Yeah, sucks being a ps3 user who wants to play it. Buy/upgrade a pc seems to be the best option to play Skyrim. What makes me cringe a bit is the console-racism and the fact that Bethesda is a fucking incapable developer. Every game they have released is so bug ridden that it doesn´t make sense to buy them until the first patches are out no wonder they have troubles with the ps3. What makes their games worth it are mods and at least they are clever enough to know this.

Watch me now:

There, did you see me giving a flying f*ck?
No?
That's good, cause I didn't give one to begin with...

Console fanboys and trolls are a newsworthy article? Really? Ridiculous on every level, I had assumed it was a staffer stepping out of line or somesuch but instead it's just regurgitating Facebook comments made by randoms with added spin and bullshittery, making out they're some kind of authority on the subject.

From this moment on I shall name him Jim the Joke. Seems apt.

The ones bitching about the PS3's free online are the funniest, to me. They so want free online, but because they have a 360, they have to pay for XBL Gold. So they're desperately trying to justify it, more to themselves than anyone else.

Hilarious.

[sub][sub]I'm actually a 360 fan, don't take that as elitism.[/sub][/sub]

My favorite was this one

"You guys complaining about PS3 not getting stuff, blame Sony. Bethesda tries hard to get stuff released on all platforms at the same time but Sony sucks for getting stuff." - Jason Radeke.

Pssst! No one tell him about the exclusive deal Bethesda and Microsoft made. It'd break his world into a million pieces.

The truly comical comments are the ones saying that they get the DLC because they PAY for a superior service and that cash is then fed in to giving them the additional content.

Well news flash,

The PC version is head and shoulders above either of the console version in terms of support and overall game quality. The PC version was cheaper to buy, and the PC version has had the equivalent of the Hearthfire DLC available now for the last four months at a massive cost of NOTHING.

That's before you get in to the whole thing about Hearthfire being a quick addon DLC specifically designed to get Bethesda out of the 2 DLC contract with MS.

So the pandering master known as Jim Sterling writes a pointless article that's blatantly pandering to a group of disgruntled people. In other news the sky is blue and the grass is green.

I kinda agree, you paid for skyrim, you got what you paid for. You are not entitled to anything else.

What does that have to do with complaining about not getting the DLC?

The most insulting thing about all of this, isn't the dlc. It's that Pete Hines, the VP of public relations for Bethesda, has XBOX360 plastered across his chest in his twitter picture. Then tells ps3 fans that bethesda cares about them. Not sure why he thinks that a Sounders jersey is the best thing to be showing off at the moment. However it's that level of non-thought that makes this amusing to watch. Because for me, the 30 day period day saved me from the kneejerk "it's skyrim so it must be good" purchase. That's $20 saved and months of amusement watching Bethesda poke at an angry mob repeatedly.

There used to be a time, before HD, when if a game came out for all consoles, each release would be different in small or even large ways. Relatively that wasn't long ago, but here we are complaining about a developer favoring a console. Developers do that. The sun rises in the morning, water is wet, salt is salty, and Bethesda's in love with Microsoft's money. The world has turned yet another day.

Note how everyone will complain: PS3 owners complain about Skyrim DLC, PC gamers complain abour Dark Souls, Xbox 360 owners complain about their own community. See, we're not so different, you and I.
