Either "The devils aggressor", flag would be black with one small white skull in the upper right hand corner and a larger red one in the centre upside down.
Or the "le bateau de le sterling", an ex french merchant vessel that was tasked with delivering a whole cargo-hold of sterling silver oranaments and trinkets to the king of england, but was intercepted by a much larger pirate vessel. The ship fought valliantly, but was eventually overwhelmed. In an act that was out of character for the pirate captain, he decided to keep the ship, instead of stripping it of all that was valuable in it, and sending it to the depths. He spared it, and divided his crew in to two, sending half onto the ship he dubbed "le bateau de le sterling", and keeping the other half to man his own ship. However, the first mate aboard the "le sterling" turned on the captain some time after, in a surprise attack that caught the captain off guard and sunk his beloved ship. The first mate the declared himself as the captain of "le sterling", and the ship was forgotten soon after.
Sorry, i got a bit bored... Also, my french isn't brilliant, so i probably have a few errors in tense or gender etc.
