I thought dragons could live until they were killed in battle or something along those lines. And who says the events in The Elder Scrolls occurred in the past? It's not of our world. It could be occurring concurrently in its own.

Dragons are technically immortal unless a Dragonborn kills them, they're like Daedra in a sense, you can destroy their physical form but their soul remains intact. (Unless as I said a Dragonborn eats their soul)

Oh and I'd probably go about life as normal, occasionally using my powers for evil good

.. Well in modern times, how would I come across the Dragon Tongue? Oh yeah! *Looks up Wiki on Skyrim 'Words of Power'* That will do. But, with all the shouts out there my favorite would be Disarm shout. Because if someone is holding a gun/knife/weapon towards me.. that shout would make them drop the weapon thus defenseless against me. I could be a super hero, and that shout would be all I need (or have the Fus Ro Dah shout in case as backup).

Yeah, I'd go the vigilante route, too.

Considering it would be reality, I would try to actually talk to Odahviing more and be best buddies with him. Anyway, I'd probably end up overdoing things a little. "Hey, you got a light?" "Sure, buddy... YOL TOOR SHUL!" (fire breath shout)
