I'm terrible with heights... I even hate roller coasters. But if you say I can't live without it, then I really have no choice. It being something I can't live without.

If there was a suitcase with at least £15 million pounds, a damn hot chick, and scientific papers containing the forumulae for eternal youth and life for all humanity.. oh and my own personal TARDIS... then maybe i'll try crossing that 2 foot plank.

(second thought's, why not just go down to the bottom floor, walk across the street, enter the other sky scraper, take the lift up to the top floor, and collect my prizes?)

It'd have to be the fuckin' fountain of youth or some shit for me to be THAT eager to get there. I mean, helicopters, elevators, and stairs are much safer options in most other cases.

It would be my parents, and I would just go down to street level and take the elevator up the skyscraper my parents are on. What? You never said there was no way down...

Well, what is it that you can't really live without?

Oxygen?

I'd cross the plank for oxygen.

I'd go across for any family member, or good friend, but I don't think I'd risk it for any kind of material pleasure.

I'd only cross that if it was the only way I could safely get back to the ground or if I had to save someone I care about on the other side.

Even if either of those were the case, it's possible my phobia of heights would prevent me from moving at all.

The Tome of Eternal Darkness or any kind of strange mcguffin that would grant me hilariously overpowered spells. THAT would be worthy crossing the plank.

On a strange note, if I was on top of such a HUGE skyscraper, I might start getting some suicidal thoughts. I would fucking love to jump from such a height!

A skinny, girly-looking asian boy with thick floor-length black hair & the voice of an angel, wearing a Mad Hatter cosplay suit, holding a huge basket of assorted baby animals, sitting on a picnic blanket covered in with all my favorite foods, surrounded by a huge pile of Batman/Xmen comic books & mangas I've never read before. & standing beside all of that is Henry Selick, who promised to make stop-motion claymation films of any 5 video games or books of my choosing if I make it to the other side alive.

For that, I would brave a 200 foot walk across a 500x1 foot metal plank.

Probably my heart. Not like, in the hypothetical sense of the heart meaning my will or love or whatever, I'm talking about the literal organ that pumps blood. I'm pretty sure I couldn't live without it

well, that makes sense. i think it would be the same for me too.

Well no matter what it was I would probably just take the elevator down walk across the 500ft sidewalk and then go up the other building's elevator and then get what I so desired.

that's no fun!! where's you sense of adventure. i'm dissapointed in you

TWO foot wide? Of course i take that. (Just don't stand, crawl and take your time) As long as it is not stormy i can make that easily... Oh one more thing: Does that thing wobble or bent under my weight? Time to turn back then.

I would like the best home PC around, cause games just seem to work a lot worse on laptops. Something I couldn't live without. OK, hearing aids. The only ones that work for me. I need heavy metal.

Yes. I'd run across. Because even if I don't make it, I die but its ok because I don't have that thing I can't live without.

For me it would be the secret to immortality. Also, couldn't I just take the elevator down the street and then enter the other building?

... I have no idea.
A camera filming the whole thing?

At least then I have proof that I did it.
I'd be all; "yeah, I walked five-hundred feet across a two foot wide metal plank while two-hundred stories up in the air. TAKE THAT SOCIETY"
And society would have to take it.
Because I'd have proof.
