I'm with OP. I'd have to go with Cowboy Bebop.
There are other great soundtracks that come to mind (Night on Earth, Akira) but Cowboy Bebop definitely has more material to help through an extended stay.

Trailerhead: Triumph

I've been listening to it nonstop for the past 3 days. I consider only one out of the 20 songs to be less than amazing.

And it's not any of these ones.

hmmm that's a tough one as i generally dislike albums/soundracks.......

guess if i had to pick it would be a toss up between the Shadow of the colossus or Kingdom hearts 2, as these two games have the most songs i could enjoy from a complete soundtrack.

The soundtrack to "Man Provides Survival Tips for Desert Island Environments and Then Narrates How to Build an Ocean-Worthy Raft, Accompanied by Cello: The Movie"
yeah, this.

OT: obviously, Evangelion or Madoka Magica. Their soundtracks kick ass. Although, Pokemon (the games), 9 hours 9 persons 9 doors, Bastion, and Trigun are also good.

I'd choose music from Neon Genesis Evangelion. There's a wide variety of music to choose from the anime and it only gets better with the Rebuild soundtracks. There's everything from light jazz [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bYNESJgzEM8] to Beethoven [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VQLgL-HeibM].
Except the second Rebuild movie kinda cheats since it has multiple music tracks from Kare Kano.

But yeah, I'd probably go for NGE, too. It has a nice variety of light hearted, soothing, and epic tones.
I actually like 2.0 for the epic choral songs it has such as In My Spirit [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i6l_iIqrM2E] and Fate. [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K9smuVTUH4s] Although I do like 3.0 for the piano pieces as well as the grand songs >.>.

oh there is just so many but if i was going for a cop out it would be a toss up of either Interstellar 5555 or the new tron
if i was not copping out it would be either VTMB (i could listen to the Chinatown theme on loop for 10000 years) or APB reloaded because it has a vast selection of good music maybe GTA IV for the same reason if in game radio stations count

Lord of the Rings. Everyday would feel like an adventure. Plus, I've watched the movies enough to fit every piece to it's specific scene. I could close my eyes and imagine the movie playing out while listening to the soundtrack.

Do West End musicals count? If so, I'd choose the original West End recording of The Phantom of the Opera.
Interestingly enough, Phantom was the first thing that popped into my head as well. In my case, it'd be Highlights from the Phantom of the Opera, by the original cast.
