So I just saw The Room. Remember the movie written, directed, produced and starred in by Tommy Wiseau? Well if you haven't seen it, or simply need a refresher of the terrible acting, writing and screenplay, just watch this:

(BTW, you COULD say this should have a spoiler warning, but the plot is so bland that you could predict the entire plot within the first 5 minutes)

So here's my question, Escapists:

What is the WORST movie you have EVER seen, and was it just SO bad that it became good?

In all honesty, this movie made me laugh harder than I have in a very long time, and I would watch the trainwreck unfold again in a heartbeat <3

P.S. If you're going to get into some type of argument over whether or not a movie is bad, just leave your stupid comments in your pocket.

Gremlins 2.

And no, it wasn't "so bad it's good", it was just utter shite. A disgrace to the original, which is one of my favorite movies of the 80s.

This horrible brain-dead film simply titled "Ssssss" (I wish I was kidding). And no, it wasn't so bad it was good, it was simply bad. All bad all the time.

The Covenant. I went to see it on a date once. It was their idea. Coincidentally, we broke up shortly after. And no, it didn't turn out to be good.

recently, Resident Evil Afterlife the nods to the game are funny but that doesnt hold up the movie on its own. but the worst movie i think ive seen all time... Lost in Space movie, i loved it as a kid for the effects, but looking back today... WTF was i watching. Plus the Phantom and Neverending Story 2 i watch'd those movies all the time as a kid.

Critters?

The worst movie I've seen that was so bad it was good was probably Mac & Me. I absolutely hate-love that movie. Also, whatever is on SyFy at any given time.

That was a movie so bad, I couldn't wait to see what else they could do wrong. Thank goodness it was free, on the plane.

Best worst movie?

The Gate. A 1982 PG-13 family horror flick about a kid, his older sister, his motherless metalhead friend, a hole to Hell and a parent-free weekend.

Hilarious.

While The Room is amazing, I have to say Dungeon Siege: In the Name of the King is probably one of those awful pictures that I can't bring myself to hate.

At is stands, it is probably the only Uwe Boll movie I actually like a little bit. It's dumb fun, and as it stands, it's the best I think anyone will ever say about it.

As much as I hate to admit it, Resident Evil; Afterlife. The first 3 were o.k. but this latest one.... was... well, no, I haven't finished the movie. I got 15 minutes in and stopped. It was so cheesy and ridiculous. I'll try to finish it but right now, it's the worst.
[sub][sub]Besides Twilight, but that stands on its own...[/sub][/sub]

Technically, this may have been a miniseries, but I saw it in movie form, so I've got to say Salem's Lot.

It's not that it's the worst thing I've seen, but it's the one of the few things that wasn't first recommended to me by someone else as 'So bad it's good' that I just couldn't stop laughing at. I found it utterly hilarious. It doesn't help that the vampire looks really godawfully silly by today's standards.

If I were to make a Rifftrax for anything, that would be the first thing I picked.

Oh my God that movie was unintentionally hilarious! It was like Twilight crossed with The Craft crossed with bad fanfiction about The Lost Boys! Thanks for reminding me of that stupid, stupid movie. Best comedy film I rented that year.
