There was this "horror" movie I watched once, the only horrific thing about it was how stupid it was. Can't remember the name and probably better off not knowing, kept on laughing the entire movie (and its not like it was so bad it was good but rather so bad its ridiculous). Some people in the middle of nowhere get kidnapped by aliens, tortured/experimented whatever, then they decide to hunt the aliens back... with pickup truck a pair of shotguns and a bear trap... hell knows how but an alien is caught in a bear trap, the idiots find him and assume he's dead, now they are freaked out that the aliens might want vengeance on them for killing him so they drag his body to an old friend of theirs who used to be an alien hunter too but quit because he was too afraid of them. It then turns out the aliens are immortal and can control anyone who looks into their eyes... at which point the retired hunter girlfriend under alien's control releases the alien, massacre ensues... with a guy being dragged by his intestines that don't look remotely like an actual intestines. Now for whatever reason they all avoid trying to kill the alien because they are afraid of retaliation (which is doubly stupid because the aliens are immortal...). The only ones left alive are the retired hunter and his mind controled girlfriend...they take the pickup truck and drive away...at some point the girl jumps out of the truck and apparently get murdered... the hunter drives back home and activates some bomb which somehow??? blows up the alien mothership (despite the whole movie making a point of not hurting the aliens in fear of retaliation and the fact they are immortal...) and roll credits. If that isn't the stupidest movie ever I don't know what is.

If I had to pick a movie that was so bad that its good it would have to be Big Trouble In Little China....such a horrible movie but I would love to watch it again.......I think something is wrong with me..........

Primer. It was a movie so bad it transcended "so bad it's good" and entered "so bad it's just a nightmare to watch" territory. The reason I disliked it so much is because it's probably the only movie I've ever seen that was completely devoid of entertainment. It was just boring, all the way through. And it made me feel stupid. I can never forgive it for that.

The first Street Fighter movie... the one with JCVD.
SO
FUCKING
FUNNY XD

Seriously, I can't think of a better way to pay tribute to the campiness of the Street Fighter series than to make a shitty 80s action movie based around it (No I am not being sarcastic). The recent Legend of Chun-Li (ugh) should exemplify the fact that a serious live action street fighter movie would never work. Its just too ridiculous (in a good way).

Seriously.

Why change the channel when you can just blow it up?

By far the most hilariously bad movie I've ever seen, even beats The Room.

Meet the Spartans was terrible. It was like some little kid kept expanding on a joke that was never funny ever. If you want the "So bad it's good" then it's The Room, but that's been covered.

Calumon: I don't like most of the films Jack watches, but I don't stop to ask for names. I just go and play somewhere.

Best worst movie?

The Gate. A 1982 PG-13 family horror flick about a kid, his older sister, his motherless metalhead friend, a hole to Hell and a parent-free weekend.

Hilarious.

OMG I've seen that movie it was so bad though I did thoroughly enjoy its terribleness. I think the worst movie I've ever seen was Black Water or Blood Surf, but I've seen so many its hard to recall all of them.

So I just saw The Room. Remember the movie written, directed, produced and starred in by Tommy Wiseau? Well if you haven't seen it, or simply need a refresher of the terrible acting, writing and screenplay, just watch this:

(BTW, you COULD say this should have a spoiler warning, but the plot is so bland that you could predict the entire plot within the first 5 minutes)

So here's my question, Escapists:

What is the WORST movie you have EVER seen, and was it just SO bad that it became good?

In all honesty, this movie made me laugh harder than I have in a very long time, and I would watch the trainwreck unfold again in a heartbeat <3

P.S. If you're going to get into some type of argument over whether or not a movie is bad, just leave your stupid comments in your pocket.
Ok, I saw the review of this movie on TGWTG b4 they took it down and I can honestly say nothing will get me to watch that stupid piece of crap. That would be two hours of my life I will never get back. Worst movie I HAVE seen would probably be... Beverly Hills Chihuahua. Another two hours I will never get back. Only reason I saw it was because my High School Finite Math teacher put it on, and I had no other choice.

I think I'm gonna have to say I Am Legend with the original ending. The original ending killed the entire thing for me.

With the alternate ending, however, it made the movie much, MUCH better.

Watch the Rifftrax version of The Room. It's hilarious.

House of Wax, the modern one. I heard my friends talk about how scary it was, I could only laugh when they said that.

Who doesn't want to see Paris Hilton with a metal bar in her head? She's even more of a Barbie doll when she's dead! (no, seriously, it's obviously a doll with synthetic hair)

Something that comes close is Krull, a classic movie that balances on the border of bad and good. It's odd to explain it. I love that movie.

I hardly know anything 'so bad it's good'. You feel dirty after watching Dragonball Evolution or Eragon.

Grease.

God I hate that movie.

So much.
Why? The songs are better than High school musical and they don't sound like autotuned shitheads.

OT: Snakes on a plane is the best time I've ever had ridiculing a film.
Snakes on a Plane also wins a point with the censored crap version. It's just a joke all in its same, which makes it the most awesome worst movie evar.

Also, I think Snakes on a Plane is it for me.
