Appearance: Romero is tall, standing at 5'8", and muscular just enough not to be considered lanky. His skin is slightly tanned and his hair and well trimmed beard are of a faint red hue. His eyes are black but he's always wearing an eyepatch with the insignia of Zeon on it over his lost right eye. His features are squared and stern and he can almost always be seen with a frown on his face. He keeps his hair cut short and straight. When off-duty, he mostly wears a trenchcoat over a suit as well as a pair of black leather gloves.
Mobile Suit: Zaku II
Bio: Romero was born and raised in Side 3 even before Zeon and as he grew up he saw the events that took place and was shaped by them. He supported Zeon's ideals as since he was born at Side 3, he did not consider Earth his home. After Zeon's death the rise of the Zabi family, he pledged alliance to this new Principality of Zeon, even after they declared on Earth. He feared that even if the Zabis had not declared war, Earth may have striked first. At that point Romero had formed a family, with his wife Shaili, and his son Romelo, and the thought of losing them was terrifying. He was among the first to join the military and nowadays stands as one of the most experienced and seasoned mobile suit pilots the Principality has to offer. The eye-patch he wears is due to a battle wound he suffered in a skirmish long before Codswell. Although the higher-ups attempted to have Romero retire due to his lost eye, he proved time and time again that he could carry his own weight despite this, in his own words, 'insignificant setback'.[/spoiler]
