I'm sure I'd be the GRITTY SAD EMOTIONAL DOWNTRODDEN anti-hero who then gets a NEW OUTLOOK on life thanks to the power of FRIENDSHIP. Also huge and/or multiple sword for no adequately explained reason.

But less heroic, I'd seriously be like those guys, but motivated solely for my own reasons, so it's not unreasonable I'll change sides as many times as I want. Pretty much the epitomy of a 'doing it for entertainment' character.

I'd be the large, brutish guy, with no neck, over-sized shoulders, eyes always closed, wielding two giant chainsaws, the chains of which are made up of normal-sized chainsaws, their chains made from mini-chainsaws. I shall call them the Murderfiertron and the Eviscawesomerator.
Hmm...there are a very large number of cliches[footnote]I refuse to accept the validity of this word, but I'll play along this once.[/footnote] to choose from.
I rather doubt that I fit any of the actual hero traits (I'm more of a Smart Non-Action Guy with a few strange quirks), but the closest might be a hero oblivious to the advances of one particular woman (not more than one, I'll be realistic) who can pick up any sort of weapon and learn to use it very quickly. Two-to-one odds that I'll sacrifice myself to save the world.

I would be like Miroku from InuYasha, except definitely not a priest/monk guy. At first glance I would be a quiet, polite man interested in helping people. I would appear to be rather weak, but then in a fight I would surprise every one with my hidden power. I would be completely obsessed with the anime ladies around me. I might even scam a person or two. But in the end, you'd know I had a heart of gold.
