Heavily depends on how freaked out other people around me are.

Frankly? I'd rather just go to work tomorrow as I had planned, get on with my life as if nothing was different, let the scientists bicker about how the hell it happened for a few weeks and listen to any explanations they come up with.

If some new abilities came with the package I'll test them out and incorporate them into my life, but aside from that, my physical form matters little to me.

I'd become a pig, learn to fly, buy a pretty red seaplane and move to italy.

Guess I'll have plenty of time to think about how this happened though, Cat's cradle has been on my mind so this being something like ice-9 seems pretty likely to me at the moment. But then again it's so different at the same time.

Well, as a furry, I'd likely rejoice, depending on what form the changes take for me and others, how many others are effected, and what level of chaos is caused by the event.

I'd personally like to have monkey-like features or similar if I had the choice. Possibly something eldritch or slightly demonic/monstrous if we're getting into fantastical things. As in something that isn't overt, but uncanny, like eyes that are off in colour that are able to see better or the like. Not too keen on something so tacky as angel or devil wings...

And depending on what powers the changes grant, if any, I may use them for personal gain, or world domination for the purpose of social change. Though I doubt animal features even ones that are somewhat fantastical would be powerful enough for that...

Though being half-dragon sounds cool, the wings and tail sound like they would get in the way. Plus, trying to operate a keyboard with claws sounds like a fantastic way to destroy it.

Though likely as not, if this was a global thing, I think the socio-political upheaval would kill the mood.
Civilization undergoing a complete species identity crisis would do that.

Technically, Angels and Demons aren't Animals.

Having the ability to morph at will between dragon would be pretty frikkin boss. However, being merely a human with dragon-features would be lame.

As to what would happen, lots of people doubled over laughing at the hilariousness of other people's features.
...And then someone slaps sense back into them with a Fish.

(I tried googling for a clip of that happening in Chip 'n Dale, but sadly could not find it, I watched them do it many many times, but my search skills aren't up to the task I guess.)

I'll just pick an eclectic mix of parts.
Owl eyes, a mantis shrimp's photoreceptors, the vocal chords of a lyrebird, extra "brains" to control each limb independently(a la octopuses), mimic octopus/cuttlefish skin(shapeshifting and camo), giant owl wings (silent flight), avian directional senses, whatever animals' heart and lungs are most powerful and efficient enough to properly power my flight, a shark's electromagnetic senses, a pit viper's heat sense, a grizzly's sense of smell, a bat's hearing and echolocation, the proportional strength of a scarab (which would let me lift like 230,000lbs), the ability to stick to stuff like a gecko, agility of a ring-tailed cat, an opossum's LTNF (immunity to all sorts of venoms), axolotl regeneration, electric eel bioelectricity generation, etc etc etc.

Aside from the giant owl wings attached angel style, I'd just look human, and I'd be amazing.
I'd be like an animal-powered Batman. Except maybe more badass than Batman.

I guess failing squirrel wings I would go for something really weird and useless like a tail. If I had to pick something useful I'd steal the mechanism that allows creatures to see in wavelengths that aren't in the visible spectrum, like IR.
