Every pet that does not show affection is a strange one to me. Spiders, snakes, scorpions, etc.

Mind you, I think some of them can still be awesome as animals, but I don't see them work as actual pets, and it's more like people treat them like collectors items rather than actual pets.

I love animals...except spiders. I have been attacked by Dogs (It seems like this is all this thread is geared towards...you ever seen a violent goldfish?) but I still love dogs. I've been attacked by deer and monkeys (Actually...don't ask. It all took place in Japan though) but I still love deer and monkeys.

Oooooooooooooooooooooof course it did.

I kind of wonder why a person would keep a snake, iguana, or any reptile for that manner. You need to heat-lamp them, they're uncomfortable all cooped up, you have to touch. Living. Insects. To feed them, and who wants to pet a SNAKE for God's sake? Not me.

Let me guess, the deer thought you were holding out on the crackers? They always seemed to go after people with things in their hands...

I hate pets of all shapes and sizes, although dogs in particular really set me off. I'm probably the only person on Earth who hates his family dog. I guess I like cats, but I'd never own one myself.

Well for starters at an ancient temple where deer roamed the grounds a woman was selling crackers you cold feed to the deer. So we decided to buy some (I did something similar in a pigeon inhabited square in Milan, let's just say unless you want pigeons covering every inch of your body don't buy birdseed and spread it on your arm for a laugh) and as I was opening the packet a pack of deer started butting me with their heads and closing in on me. I ended up having to hurriedly throw the crackers on the ground and run away. And then with the monkeys it was at an area in the Japanese mountain range where you could walk among snow monkeys. I remember I was walking up a set of stairs they had there when this monkey landed on the banister next to me. I turned to him out of fascination. His eyes grew wide, as did his mouth. He leapt at me and I managed to get out of the way just in time.

Well they were these big cracker things about the size of your hand wrapped up in a nice bundle. The packaging was a bit hard to get off and once I had finally gotten it off they'd swarmed me. I guess the mistake was giving in to their deer powers (It sort of felt like that episode of south park with the homeless invasion) of butting with their hard heads into my legs and thinking that giving them crackers would make them go away.

My granny has two yellow birds.

They fly around the sitting and room, shit on people, and NEVER SHUT THE FUCK UP.

We've tried to get the dog to eat them but he always just misses and gets a mouthfull of air.

Some day...

I've had a dog and a cat, and i loved them both equally. Though i'd have to say i'm probably more of a dog person because they're always full of life while my cat looks at me with this 'eh' expression every morning. I really hate small yappy loud dogs or obnoxiously large slobbering dogs. I refuse to accept birds like budgerigards as pets and i can't stand their loud sqwuaking and flapping. The weirdest pet i've seen was a tortoise that my childhood friend had along with his hamster. I don't know why it was entertaining to watch it slowly eat a piece of lettuce, but it was.

I don't think that is technically true.
Dogs can be bad at the start without any guidence and if they are well trained there is always the possibility that they might revert to their primal instinct.
I don't have any proof to back this theory up though...
If you have a dog of your own, you would understand better.

I dislike anyone who deems rotties as a violent pet. Shame on them!

EDIT:

Look at it. And think about what you have done.
Yes, yes... It is quite cute.....
Nonetheless, any creature can still be dangerous regardless of looks.
Here is an example.

This cute lion cub changes into a not so cute lion.

Either way, I agree with you that I hate when people give rottweilers a bad name but sometimes they deserve it unless they were trained to be vicious.
I still think rottweilers shouldn't be deemed as a suitable pet for almost any family. :(
No offense, but I find it hard to believe that you like every animal.
There must be at least one animal you don't like?..

Me and my friend were attacked by a pitbull when we were young, it ended up being put down by the animal society since it was too dangerous, since it attacked another person too (a few days after it attacked me and my friend)

I prefer pets that don't require a lot of work or maintenance. Me and my family go on vacation every month to a random part of the world...so having pets like cats/dogs and other high maintenance pets don't work for us...since it costs too much for a pet sitter, and then we always worry about them. And when we are home, we usually end up too busy to do much with the pets.

I have scorpions, snakes, spiders...and a bunch of other low maintenance pets. We can go on vacation and know they'll be fine, since they can go quite a while without food. Plus, snakes, scorpions and spiders live a long time...one of my scorpions can live up to 25 years. And one of my spiders can live up to 30 years. A lot longer than a cat or dog.

The same goes for humans.

Though I thought a lion has a natural hunting instinct, whereas the domestic dogs don't have that much. And I like every animal, because I don't hate any animal. I'm an animal person.

I hate cats. It's not just a "meh, cats are boring." its a white spy/black spy relationship between me and every cat I've ever met. it's not like I haven't tried, It's just that cat's don't take to me.
