Any Final Fantasy boss, I have never lost or come close to it with them.

Kefka from Final Fantasy 3. don't get me wrong, he's great as a character, but a boss? I mean, that game was so, so, so good. I remember playing through it as a kid taking so many hours, having the time of my life... then the final boss fight appears and disappears in the same breath. wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too little HP when every single one of your attacks do "9999" at this point in the game.

Oh well. Still a damn good game...

Batman: Arkham Asylum

The second I saw it. I turned my game off and didn't even bother beating it.
That's, no offence, retarded.
No, it isn't. I felt cheated. All of that just lead up to some underwhelming boss fight. The ending was rushed and insulting. Mega Joker had his ass handed to him just a few minutes after his unveiling. There was so much that could have happened, and all of it was squandered. It was the low point of the entire game.

Poison Ivy, Killer Croc, and Zsasz all had a great lead up to their downfall. They all had their own little plot, so did the Joker until the end. Even Harley Quinn received better treatment. Scarecrow was certainly a more intimidating and interesting opponent. The Riddler never even appeared in person. I wanted the Joker. Not steroid Joker cop-out.

Then Bioshock 2 game along and it didn?t even have a final boss.
late responsese ftw

idk, I think Bioshock 2's lack of last boss is pretty fitting, I mean, Delta didn't had any true enemy, so, to me, it made sense that it was more of a finale rather than a boss fight

My most recent was the final form of Orphan in FFXIII. It's supposed to be a god-like being, but despite having the highest hp of any final boss in the series, it went down in a little over a minute and a half, while not even feeling like a real threat to my party.

Vlad in Max Payne 2 - waaaay too easy ^^
the thing in Doom 3 - oh come on...
the bosses of both KotOR 1 & 2 - uhm... yes...

i guess the list could go on for quite a while, but those are the ones that actually come to my mind now ^^

Killzone: the guy is trap under a pipe with a pistol 1 shot from anything kills him

Homeworld 2:take your fighters into 3 groups the missiles never deviate from the same lines so you just plop sjuuk and the dreadnought on each one 7min your done with all 3

Destroy all humans 2: it took me all of 3 mins you just blow off his armor and drop gastro
it was harder getting to him then killing him

Seems a lot of games lately either have terrible final bosses, or no final bosses.

Singularity didn't have one at all. It had a huge boss halfway through the game, but nothing after that.

Mafia 2's "boss" was a little challenging, but not nearly as hard as the warehouse "boss" one chapter earlier.

Batman: Arkham Asylum's final boss was idiotic (though to be fair, pretty much all the boss fights in that game were idiotic.) Now, on the one hand, it was extremely difficult for me. But it also wasn't a "boss", not really. I did finally finish it, but I hated every second of it. Beyond tedious.

Final Fantasy X, easily.

"Hm, like to cure yourself huh?... No big boss that cures itself is ever weak against Zombie status... I'll give it a whirl anyway... FUCK ME, IT STUCK... guess I'll go make a coffee while the game finishes itself for me."

Thank fuck for Dark Aeons in the European release- otherwise I would've felt really sore about it.

Seth from street figher 4, just a cheap ******

And The Wesker battle on resident evil 5 (the fist bit in the hanger) just seems a bit roll the dice style to me.

Far Cry's final boss was a major anti-climax (one shot kill with any weapon), but it was hot on the heels of one of the most brutal levels I have ever played. I actually thought that was kind of cool though.
You surely don't mean Instincts!
the original PC version. Don't know what they did with the console ports.

HALO 3 What the FUCK?
How can u call a little flying camera that only stands 3 laser shots and cant really kill u a FINAL boss?
But Halo never really had "bosses". He was just another enemy, imo.

Edit: I know everyone else has said it, but Lucien of Fable II. Ain't got sh*t on Jack of Blades, he was an awesome boss.

Hmm, can't even remember the last good boss fight I had, seems developers these days don't remember what a boss battle looks like, where are the multi-stage hard as all hell bosses?!

Worst I can remember is Borderlands, you just hold down the fire button until he dies, and you strafe left and right a little so you don't.
And Batman: Arkham asylum, the hardest part were the minions...
Well I could also add all of those Call of Battlefield Modern Medal of Warfare Honor 2, they really don't know how to end it, you just shoot a bunch of people and then the credits roll...

I don't mind if there isn't a final boss, but there should always be a final battle, or something to really bring the game to it's peek.
