The final boss from Final Fantasy X partly because I had overlevelled slighty and partly because you get reserrected if you die.

However, I'm here to defend the final boss of Fable 2. The thing people miss is that he's supposed to be easy because unlike you, he isn't special/a Hero. The idea behind the game was that Lord Lucean was just an ordinary guy and that he came to power thanks to a combination of cool toys and tough minions. Once you got through those, he's no different to the man on the street. Its the same as if you were playing a game where you had to kill US president. Once you've gotten through his defenses and got rid of his guards, the president isn't suddenly going to become a massive monster or whip out an AK47.

Agreed, which is why Fable 3 sucked worse.. IT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE A SUPERPOWERED WARRIOR! But it was little more then a bandit with a larger health bar and a magic attack once in a blue moon that did little more then made you notice him again..

The ones in Batman: Arkham Asylum

Seriously, I fought Koopa Troopas better than that, and they're all just using "charging" and "brute" attacks for every single boss aside from Poison Ivy. And they all just summon other prisoners to do the fighting for them. Where's the one-to-one combat?
They better improve on this in the sequel or there will be hell to pay.

The Vizier at the end of Sands of Time.
Yeah it made sense story-wise, but he was so piss-weak it wasn't funny.

GOD! Fallout 3, after the epic assault on The Jefferson Memorial with L. Prime, you face two mid-level henchmen/soldiers and a retarded (not actually) General, wearing an overcoat, and carrying one of the worst weapons in the game!

Broken Steel's Boss is half way through the final mission and is a whole squad, easily taken out with a fatman or missile launcher.

Gears of War 2 was pretty disappointing for me Boss wise.

The wannabe Darth Maul with chainsaws could be beaten by just running from side to side and mashing B three times while your partner acts as a cheerleader.

And the final boss? Don't even get me started on him. Dies in 3 shots, doesn't even fight back. No room for innovation or challenge, just pull the trigger 3 times and sit through a cutscene basically promising yet another Gears of War.

most of the satar ocean bosses, number 2 by far the easiest, jut had 3 melee charecters and one to heal just in case, and it was victory. no sweat

Who the hell told everyone that Lucien in Fable 2 was a final boss? He's not a boss, he's simply the conclusion to the story. A game doesn't NEED a final boss!
QFT.

Lucien was the antagonist, not a boss. He was no warrior or w/e and he needed the Spire's powers to get a bit tougher. At the point the player drained those powers with his/her little magic box 'o tricks, he was just another Florida resident; old, brittle and weak.

God of War 3

This was Zeus' finest hour? Really?
To be fair he was probably feeling a little under the weather after the end of God of War 2. Nevertheless he was just annoying and you didn't feel like he was really trying as hard as the most powerful god of Olympus should. in fact Posiedon was considerably more powerful than he was, and Hades was more aggressive. Yeah actually your right what a bloody looser.

Well, as all the bad ones have already been mentioned, I'm going to name a very good boss (in my opinion). THe final boss of Beyond Good & Evil was really epic, and the fight right before the boss was even better. :)

Final Fantasy X, easily.

"Hm, like to cure yourself huh?... No big boss that cures itself is ever weak against Zombie status... I'll give it a whirl anyway... FUCK ME, IT STUCK... guess I'll go make a coffee while the game finishes itself for me."

Thank fuck for Dark Aeons in the European release- otherwise I would've felt really sore about it.
My thoughts were pretty much the same with the X's final boss and the Dark Aeons and Penance...never thought about using the zombie thing on the "final" boss though, maybe Square-Enix has finally got me stuck in the box for good.

Lost planet 2's final boss was pathetic.
Oh yeah I forgot about that! That was really annoying because I had high hopes for the final boss. I mean, you spend the whole game sending giant powerful doomsday cannons so big they pretty much require groups of people to operate them towards a single place where it is known that there is a huge Akrid, so I thought there might be some massive awesome final boss that requires all three doom guns to destroy. Turns out the developers realised that it would be too late for the player to take the game back by then so hey! Just don't bother with an awesome final boss, right? Just spam enemies at the player until they get to the core and blow up a big orange pile of shit and we are all done here!

i was about to counter you with Star Ocean: First Departure's last boss because i remember that being a very trying battle. However, thinking on it, it only took me about 4 attempts and when i entered the battle, all my allies shouted "THIS IS AN UNEVEN MATCH!" "There's no way we can win!" "HOLY CRAP HOLY CRAP HOLY CRAP!"... so maybe it was a bit easier than i remember.

90% of all video game bosses in the past 10 years.

They tend to be to easy in most cases, or just completely forgetable.

Prince of Persia the Sands of Time, by far.

A situation where you're fighting an old man with a cough and one of your character's lines is "don't strain yourself" is never a good one.

WET.

The final boss is a QTE.

Seriously. Loved that game but the final "boss" was really disappointing.
