the only way to end this ip is to make him real... then kill him
most video game characters are seriously flawed to make them interesting but would not function in the real world. Any non flawed super human/non-human would end up in a government containment facility almost immediately.... Megaman would be ripped apart in the name of reverse engineering and Kratos would cause nuclear war due to Earth having a higher survivability rate if nukes actually kill him.

As for a female character...hmm, ever since I was a kid, kind of had a thing for Samus Aran. Plus being an intergalactic bounty hunter would be fucking awesome!

April Ryan, because she's probably the most realistic character (male or female) I have EVER seen in a game. And I gladly welcome anyone who attempts to provide an example of a better character. And yes, she beats Alyx Vance and Jade from BGAE, who are both good characters in their own right. But I digress...
April is someone who would basically be a great person to hang out with, and she's 18 in the first game which means not too far from my own age (I'm 20) and thus would be someone I could reasonably be close friends with (unlike, say, mid-thirties Marcus Fenix, or 42-year-old Master Chief...). She's generally pretty damn cool and sassy, and she's kind of like a fictional, female, version of me, except better than me at art. We're both pretty creative, and have a similar sense of humour. Overall, she's basically me if I was female, two years younger, and stuck in a video game.
Plus, as far as game crushes go, I have a big one on her, so I probably would end up pursuing her as a girlfriend if she was real... what?
EDIT: Also, bear in mind that despite what happens in the Longest Journey series, she's far less likely to risk causing untold destruction to the world than the likes of, say, Kratos or someone. Who several people seem to be picking. Foolishly, in my opinion.
