Taking both serious and non-serious suggestions here.
I would learn Latin and a bit of ancient Greek and then see the Collossus of Rhodes before it's collapse, and go to a genuine Renaissance fair and perhaps a masked ball too. I would watch the Pyramids being constructed and get drunk in a Saxon tavern. I might, for a laugh, scare the shit out of them with a mobile phone. The temptation to see how the ancients react to modern technology is there, but it may also be dangerous too...I would carry a concealed pistol just in case. If anything it would scare any bandits away.
I would also take a walk around 1940's Birkenhead, England. A large town near where i live and where my grandparents as teenagers survived the war. Seeing the bomb damage would be pretty interesting. I would also see my home town in the middle ages, and take a walk around Roman Chester just to see what's where and how the city has transformed over the years.
So yeah, i have a pretty long and varied list as to what i would do. What would you do?
