The Culture. Drug glands, total and unlimited freedom, total control over your genetic code (you can impregnate yourself and give birth to your child), 400 year life span(They only die because they choose to), extremely low danger of death, every luxury you could ever dream of at your beck and call, and living in a universe filled with other intelligent species. It is heaven.
To me, that would get really boring after about 6 months or so, because there'd be nothing to spend your time on.
Hmm. . . Speaking of wasting time, Maybe the Minecraft world? that could be fun, not having everything instantly available, but having most of the limits to sheer, uncomplicated construction removed.
What? You would have all the time in the world to pursue whatever you want.

Doctor Who. No contest.

Also, is it just me, or are captchas getting harder? Not just on the Escapist, too. I used to have no problems reading them, in fact, I liked them, but now they're getting harder...

Kylar Stern from the Night Angel Trilogy. Awesome endless reincarnation? Check. Sexy assassin who is in love with me? Check. Ability to turn invisible? Check. Ability to change body at will? Check. Borderline superpowers? Check. Life will be gooooooood.

Ehhh that's a pretty tough one.

Pokemon would be admittedly awesome.
As much as I love Fallout/Oblivion I would hate to actually live in those worlds, life expectancy couldn't exactly be high.
And while I'm getting into the fictional setting for a book I'm writing myself, it doesn't have much to offer that a logical near-future wouldn't.

Wait- The World Ends With You.
Basically the same world as this, but after death you're guaranteed a shot at coming back to life with the Reapers Game. Hell yeah.

Highschool of the Dead, just off the top of my head. I would probably choose something else if I thought about it more.

Edit: thinking about it more, I would want to pilot a Sovereign Class star ship in Star Trek Universe.

I'd have to pick the Star Trek Universe.

1stly They have a utopian society.

2ndly, they have holodecks, so if I wanted I could sample all of the other fantasy worlds I want.

The Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha world. Why? Because magitech is fucking awesome.
[small]I suspect that my awful luck will strike and result in me being magic-less, though >.>[/small]

I'm gonna fly my nerd flag here and say either an Elf from The Lord of the Rings or human in The Wheel of Time ala The Crown of Swords. I'd love being ta'veren and maybe channeling The One Power.

The Dark Tower world

They have doors tat can take me back to my world, so ha.
Gilead always sounded nice.

For me, Eden Prime in the Mass Effect Universe looked like a great place to live, prior to ummm Sovereign and Saren wiping out all the humans. The same with Virmire, before a decent proportion of it got blasted back to the stoneage.

The Star Wars universe. Can there be a better one? Space travel is trivial. Lightsabers! It's basically the future. Obviously, I'd be a Jedi. Fighting to pro... Wow. I can't believe I almost said that completely. I'd have to be a Sith. All the joys and power of being a Jedi with none of the denial of life's pleasures. Plus Force Lighting. The Star Wars universe is obviously the best choice.

Probably Negima!. Perhaps Mahora academy, or the magical world Negi went to. All I know is, there's beautiful girls everywhere in that manga and I want to be turned loose on them.

Ooooooh tricky. Harry Potter universe would be cool. I mean, a world where you want to learn at school because you could effectively expand your knowledge to become ridiculously powerful and win fights by lifting a finger. Sounds pretty awesome to me.
