So yeah. You can remove one thing related to your body. It can be bowel movements, it can be an organ, it can be (In some cases unfortunately) a tumor, etc. I would remove what makes us feel pain. I'd be awesomely unstoppable. :D

I would remove my appendix.

Then I wouldn't have to worry about having possible appendicitis later in life, and then having a operation to take it out. It's a useless organ anyway, left over by our herbivore ancestors, the same with wisdom teeth as well.

The whole concept of people taking your body apart while asleep just scares the hell out of me, and I hope I'll will never have to experience being wheeled in to a operating theatre.

Getting rid of pain without getting rid of the possibility of having your body damaged is a really bad idea, pain is good to let you know something's wrong and your body is going to suffer for it.

I'm not sure, I'd get rid of a couple moles (non-cancerous), or a bunch of fat (but obv not all), maybe the appendix, not really sure.

My heart.
SO IT CAN'T BE BROKEN!
But honestly, I dunno. Maybe the part of my brain that makes me an absolute coward.

Pain is the bodies way of letting you know that something is wrong, so I wouldn't wanna get rid of that lol

I'd probably get rid of my heart, mainly just because heart problems run heavily in my family, and I hate to admit it, but unless it start taking better care of myself I'll probably end up having a heart attack later in my life (I really should be doing more to prevent that...)

I'm going to say the Pancreas. Because I'm a Diabetic, it doesn't work anyways, and if I can remove one organ with no repercussions, that means I either stay a Diabetic and don't develop anything worse, or my body goes back to normal and no longer need injections.

The need for sleep, or the literally self destructive aging chemicals

Tough choice frankly, I'd probably go with the latter.

It'd be even tougher if the topic was on ideas to improve existing functions/organs. Given some time I could probably fill several pages worth of briefly described design changes. Not really a fan of the current model of Homo Sapiens personally.

Whichever part of my brain is responsible for social anxiety. I really don't want that horrible shark around.

Actually, that might be a bad idea, because it would be getting rid of other functions in the process. just do away with facial and body hair. No more shaving.

Aging, no contest. With a little good placed gene restructuring it should be possible... not for a while sadly.

Every family has a history of heart problems... don't worry so much about it.

I'd get rid of nothing, because every single thing someone has said in this thread has indirect consequences which would kill them (except for the guy saying appendix haha).

Prolly this, or my entire stomache. I'm fat, it would help.
