The people in the apartment above me make thumping noises pretty much 24/7. and before your dirty minds hop into the gutter, it sounds like there jumping around on pogo sticks
Ah, same, though mine is less severe: Usually I fall asleep by 12-1 AM on bad nights.luckshotpro said:sometimes I just can't sleep, no matter how hard I try, more than once I've gotten up for school at 6:15 after going to bed at 3:30, sometimes I just give up and go play my xbox a bit to pass the time until I actually start to get tired.
I like this guy!poiumty said:Knock again. Threaten to kill his dog.
At least that's what I'd do.

As it is, I'm laying in bed being kept awake by my neigbour's dog barking. The dog has been barking non stop for nearly an hour now. I've knocked on my neigbour's door and kindly requested that they make their beloved animal shut up. I was blessed with almost 5 minutes of silence before it started barking again. So here I am, wide awake, extremely pissed off with no chance of sleep anytime soon.
So my question is this, Escapist: What keeps you awake at night?
Probably better to get head phones (not the electronic kind you may or may not be wearing) or as you might know them, "ear-mufflers", ear-plugs can be really uncomfortable. That and close the window if you have it opened, although that might make you feel too warm as it is almost Summer and that just brings up a new set of complications...player3141 said:Ear plugs.
If you don't have earplugs, just relax and ignore the dog, the more you think about it, the more annoying it will become.
