I thought this was the day Jesus was supposed to come back, the side of the guy's van lied to me.
I was literally blown away by this conspiracy, it all makes sense now :D

Is says it was on the 19th(2 days ago)? And it was changed for the TV series to that date. The films had judgement day in 1997.
Which is the only date that counts. The spin offs and things like that changed cannon for the purposes of making the show more futuristic which is pointless.

Really? The only place I ever heard about it was when I saw it painted on the side of some guy's van parked on the side of the road.

you're too late robots already rule the earth under the name of social-network, terminator came very close to the potrayal of the end of the world, they only missed the "-net" part with "sky" instead of "social". now only a handful of survivors like me remain, who have resisted the social-net forces.

I think the date was changed between the movies, or something- maybe for that mediocre Sarah Conner TV show?

It's also a month until the supposed Second Coming/Rapture on May 21st if those christian extremist idiots are to believed (protip: they're not)
on top of that it's a month and a day until May 22nd- National Troll-the-Religious Day

Oh that's just great. Getting killed on the day of my 17th birthday, what could be better[footnote]Rhetorical question, a lot of things would be better than getting killed off. [/footnote].

Originally, judgment day was in 1995.

After the events of T2, it got pushed back to April 21, 2011. Skynet went live on the 19th, but didn't fire the nukes until the 21st.
I was always under the impression that skynet fired off all the nukes several hours after becoming self-aware.

Computers are fast, I don't get why it would take 2 days to decide to do this.

Yup. I swore it was 19th/20th, 8:30pm.
1997 from Terminator 2-3 when it was stopped er, delayed until 2007.
Then the Sarah Connor Chronicles pushed it to 2011. :D

I think Skynet works on Valve Time.

Skynet said it was going to attack but it heard that Mass Effect 3 and Skyrim come out in November so it will give us an extra year at least.

I have no idea, I'm just relaying what the terminator wiki says. Link's below if you're interested.

Nobody in this thread has given the correct day yet. The original Judgement day was August 29th 1997 people, according to T2. It was activated on August 4th, became aware at 02:14 am Eastern Time on the 29th.

T3 pushed it back to July 25th, 2004, 6:18 pm Eastern Time.

Sarah Connor Chronicles is non-canon anyway so that doesn't really matter.

Yes, I know these numbers off the top of my head because T2 is my favourite film in the world. T3 ruined it but I'll be damned if I don't remember the exact new date of Judgement Day. That shit is important!

Skynet was the 19th. And come with me if you want to live (especially if you're a pretty girl).

Didn't Terminator 2 say it was August?
People claim a non-existant sequel to that movie said the hero's actions only "delayed" judgement day.

What a stupid idea that is...
