And before you say its Overpowered, watch some of the mantis gameplays. It's certainly the most powerful vehicle in the sandbox but it certainly isn't indestructible.

Halo has been known to introduce wonderful things to the FPS genre...

Tea-bagging is part of FPS culture. Now being able to do it in a vehicle makes you wonder why this didn't exist before.

I was joking with my friends while playing Halo: Reach last night (Mind you, I dont play this game very often, and usually only with friends.)

And yet, the few times I do play it, I always end up getting t-bagged. It never fails to happen. In fact, it doesn't even make me mad anymore. I almost find it endearing, like as if to say, I'm not having the Halo experience until someone t-bags me.

We joked about the worst possible thing that could happen in Halo 4, was if they removed crouching altogether...Glad to see they extended t-bagging possibilities to the new vehicle.

As for the mantis, that looks pretty cool. Powerful, but I can see how it would be vulnerable.

There's a Mantis in my pantis.

We need more Giant Mechs in videogames. Screw realism, let's have some fun.

OT: This is hilarious. This is going to make regular t-bagging lame by comparison.

...being a little homophobic there pal. Also I think you meant who're.

OT: Well, I'm looking forward to some sexy mecha carnage in this game.

Yeah, what an awesome trailer. MECHS + DUBSTEP = EPIC WINZ AM I RITE GUYZ LOL

At least they brought Valhalla back. That might end up being the single best thing about Halo 4.
Well the two do make for a pretty awesome combo (in my opinion at least). And yeah, it's nice to see Valhalla again.

Well there is no dubstep in the game, just the trailers. :/ They even confirmed this.

Hell this isn't even the first time we have had mechs in Halo, there was one in Wars, the Scarabs are mechs, one in Halo legends, the MJOLNIR Mk 1 - 3 were Mechs.

If we didn't have Mechs like the Mantis in 500 years, I would be dissapointed. I mean we already got this:

Sure it's has wheels and not legs, but in 500 years, it would be a lot more advanced.

This is just the first one we have actually had control of outside of an RTS.

I don't really care if they are lore friendly or not. I care even less about their place in the God awful "RTS" that was Halo Wars. I just do not see them bringing anything good to the multiplayer.

Sure, if you want to blow shit up and shoot some dudes in the face you'll more than likely love the mechs, but if you're looking for something competitive, every piece of news on Halo 4 till now has probably turned you away from the game, and that includes this trailer.
Well they aren't overpowered at all, as some gameplay was also released today along with the trailer that showed a Banshee taking out two Mantis, not at the same time, but shortly after destroying the first.

I can't wait to play an updated Valhalla!

I get the feeling that the mech probably isn't as powerful as they've portrayed it, and it was either sprinting there, or it's very easy to hit with a rocket launcher, grenade, or plasma pistol. Otherwise that's ridiculously unbalanced.

Aw, I'm a little disappointed it doesn't look more similar to the one from the "Prototype" short in Legends (I personally don't like chicken walker style mechs as much as more humanoid ones), still pretty cool though.

?

That has absolutely nothing to do with what I just said.
Well, you did say that the mech was good for blowing stuff up but not for competitive play. I thought you meant that it was OP and apparently so did he.
