You Evil Bastard

I was wondering if there are any games out there in which you play as the bad guy (i.e. the guy trying to take over something, destroy society, or even world domination). I already know of Overlord and most open world crime games, but I want to know if there is a game like Call of Duty, Ghost Recon, or Killzone in which you are the evil bastard trying to stop the do-gooders.

P.S. I'm neither taking games that if taken from a different perspective, you are evil (i.e Battlefield 2: Modern Combat and Mercenaries 2) nor am I accepting games that give you the option to be either good or evil (i.e. every other RPG).

Probably only games where its overall your choice, like shadow the hedgehog or fable, whatever though I have never played a game where you take over the world

Actually, it sort of has, Goldeneye: Rogue Agent, the game is so-so if ur in the right mood lol.

but i dont think world domination type thing has been done yet

i only know of a X-box 360 arcade game where you control the weather to try to get revenge after getting fired. Evil scientist ftw

sorry tangent there, Legacy of Kain is technically a "bad guy simulator", but in order for you to be the hero stalwart of the land you must defeat some greater evil.. so no you dont get that normally.

Unless someone makes "puppy kicking" on the DS, that would be bad.

I'd like to be the bad guy though, so any suggestions and i'm here!

The thing is that most of the time we get a taste of being evil in a game that's all it is, a taste (eg: Fable 2, Fallout 3 and Mass Effect). You can do evil actions, murder innocents and be an outright ************ but you will still end up destroying a greater evil than you and thus acting towards the greater good (so you become an anti-hero rather than a villain).

Overlord. it's like pickmin, but with little gremlins instead, and you can choose to be evil, or really evil

Not necessarily. In Fable TLC, you could choose to wear Jack's mask at the end and thus become the antagonist that you've been fighting the entire time.
