The Trandoshan shotgun on Republic Commando, that is possibly one of the hardest shotguns to ever master in a game. It takes a lot of skill to aim that thing, which is surprising since it is after all, a shotgun. However, once one gains those skills, one can be damn near unstoppable, I know I was back in the day I played the PC version of the game. Heh, those were the good old days, mowing down entire teams without batting an eye.

Spas-12, first encountered it in GTA Vice City. A fast paced shotgun really releases your anger.

myself, I go with spelunky's shotgun.

had to get, but only the end boss can survive a hit (well, shopkeepers too, but only in certain situations.)

fires roughly twenty pellets, and each one does 2 damage.

this a game where health meters are rarely higher than 20 hit points, and take into account the well balance spread, HOO WEE.

and the best part? shopkeepers leave the guns on the shelf LOADED.
