You find someone in your yard playing with your dog; how do you react?

Used to happen all the time. I just popped outside and said "you realise if he bites you i'm not calling an ambulance right?". I generally do this with a cheeky grin.

If said person laughs, then you talk to them for a bit. If they walk off, then problem solved, oi, dog, get back inside, you ain't meant to be out.

Ask why the hell my dog is out in the front garden. Given that we don't have a gate or fence, it's an open drive, so our dog is free to roam in the back garden but we keep him out of the front in case he runs into the road. So yeah, I'd be suspicious.

If our house was different though, and our dog did roam free in the front as well as the back, then I wouldn't mind so much, I'd simply be curious as to why the person was there in the first place.
