Probably the Lone Wanderer from Fallout 3. My character from Saints Row 2 is also pretty tempting, but, unlike the Lone Wanderer, he doesn't have the option to keep himself doped up on morphine(Med-x) to stave off the pain of constantly being shot. That, and I'd rather eat mutant cockroach meat than fast food.
I've always had a fascination/ambition/dream to be a pirate.. sailing the oceans, discovering new lands, ransacking & pillaging, lots of women & a hell of a lot of rum. The Caribbean.. ahhh.
Alternatively, a Shepard (ME) would suffice.. pretty much anything that involves a ship, weapons, women, alcohol, no restraint, no limits. The ocean/galaxy is yours, just sail/fly around..

Most game characters' lives are quite dangerous and difficult. Sure some people love being scared for your life as a 200ft Kraken tries to bite your face off, but I'd rather have a nice cup of Tea. Nevertheless I would Choose Spiderman from Spiderman 2 on the PS2. I would live it as I played it; ignored the story entirely and just ran about on the rooftops.
Maybe Alex Mercer (Prototype) or Nightmare (Soul Calibur)
Running around, breaking things, consuming people/souls, this would be alot of fun
I see Mercer was named by some before me, so just imagine this: A dozen people with Mercer's powers running around and causing unbelieveable chaos with teamwork

I'd enjoy being an invulnerable pilot from Ace Combat. Bring it, bitches. Also, I'd probably commit global genocide of any and all enemies/people in my way/people I don't like if I were invulnerable with such awesome weapons as the EML, the Laser, and that steel rain missile/nuke.
