Puissant/Puissance. It does not belong to the English language, damn you! It is a French word and shall be pronounced as such! Violators will be hunted down by our most pwee-sahnt English police. And I'm not talking about the guys with the billy clubs and funny hats either. These guys are serious business.

Epic because it is epically overused

Alternatives:
Marrige, now civil unions for everyone, goodbye tiring discrimination troubles
damn, if you're gonna swear it is suddenly time to step it up

None of you may ever say "fuck" again.
Ah, fuck my luck.

OT: Let's screw around with the trolls and meme-goers now by removing 'nyan' and all varients under the term. Remember, you remove the word...the other word-forms have to go with it.

To improve the standards of songs, I'd eliminate:
"Baby", "Love", "Yeah", "Shawty" (or however it's spelled)

To end annoying words:
"Trending", "Gubernatorial"

To fuck with people:
Eliminate: "Today", "Then", "You", "His", "Wednesday"...
...geez, this list could go on. I really should be asleep.

and

It would be absolutely glorious to see everyone who's a prescriptivist struggle around with it in formal letters and speech, whilst all the normal people couldn't give the slightest crap.

I'd get rid of "like".
I hate when you notice how much you use the word "like" in a sentence. It's even worse because I live in a city that's well known domestically for it's overuse of the word.

OP: Using the word "lippy" instead of lipstick or "hubby" for husband. I'm not sure which one I hate more.

Wednesday.

Seriously, fuck that guy. Replace it with something that looks vaguely how it sounds. I'm 22 and I still have to go "Wed nes day" in my head every time I write it. What a bastard.

Irony. Mainly because no-one uses it right (including myself!).

Frankly the English language could use a lot of trimming, and some additional words to deal with the "same word, same spelling, for different concepts" problem (see Love, Dimension, etc).

"The", just to see how people would cope.

OT: I've been spending too much time on Reddit apparently (r/gaming specifically), because the word "gem" is starting to really piss me off. So, gem. Because fuck Reddit.

First.

That way no one can ever type that in a comment field to response to a video or article ever again. Also don't ask me what the alternative word will be.

Power off.

Also I'd ban my last name.

No, I will not share it with you. >_>

I'd pick the word "the".

I'm not a native english speaker so I couldn't care less how much I'd fuck up the language.
