I would remove the word Dictionary from the Dictionary, WHERE IS YOUR GOD NOW!

There is actually a synonym for "dictionary", that word is "wordbook". It is also possible to refer to it as a "tome of language units", so you will have to try harder. (You will also never win because we could either borrow a word from another tongue, or coin a new one).

Answer to the original question: I would rather replace some Latin-based words with ones of Germanic origin simply to stick it to Ancient Rome and the Catholic Church (English is a Germanic tongue and Rome is overrated).
