You have a development team of 1,000,000 people... What game do you have them create?

First off I fire a bunch of people. That many would probably lead to a horrible unfocused development. Then I have them make Alpha Protocol 2.

A realistic hitman game with a solid storyline, heavily talented voice crew, and realism-based features, such as having to keep only the tools you can carry or conceal with you, with random chances of DUI checkpoints coming in your way or having an almost infinite ammount of breakoff storylines depending on choices.

That sounds interesting. However, would this include multiplayer? I think that'd be awesome. You know, switching outfits and silently killing each other until only two hitmen remain?

I'd make an adventure game with the scope and depth of baldur's gate, a heavy focus on character customisation (such as having origins like DA, but a lot more than 6. With more dialogue options based on those origins and even several lengthy side quests which change based on them).

But I'd top it off with Devil May Cry 4's gameplay.

Assuming every single one of the 1.000.000 is a very capable man and knows what he's doing (meaning that the game won't have shortcomings), I'd create Dungeon Keeper 3.
I find it interesting that until extremely recently that there was little mention of Dungeon Keeper. Then in the last few weeks it appears to be everywhere.

Still I agree. That would be awesome. ANd then maybe with your 10^6 workers I would have every unit have a unique voice. (even if some were terrible).

Or maybe an extremely Large version of Oblivion again with a lot of voice actors (the team again)

It's because a couple of days ago someone made a thread about "dwarf fortress" which got 10,000's of views and everyone in it kept mentioning Dungeon Keeper.

It'll die down soon.

That number of people basically means you want to be going for an enormous amount of content and/or detail. I doubt the design side of things would be improved with that sort of staff. So I guess spend a whole lot of time planning out an MMO in detail, and then develop and polish it to perfection.
