Remove one thing of your choice from existence. What would it be? It can be anything, whether it be a game, show, someone, something, a place, whatever. But you only get to choose ONE. This also erases the history and very existence of the object, person, or thing in question. Assume this tool is paradox-proof.

If I could remove one thing it would be Fox News. If I have to explain this to anyone, then God, kill me now.

Rebeca Black's "Friday". Not because it's a bad song (though it really is) but because of I'm sick of hearing about it. Yes, it sucks. We fucking get it. Now shut up.

Racialist ideologies. But you're right, removing a news programme that you personally dislike is a much worthier action.

Hunger.

Thankyou Arabian genie.
What's that? People can still starve to death but they won't feel hungry? Damn.

Won't in the slightest. You're blaming a book for human nature.

To see how AWESOME the future would be:
Censorship. Sure, a lot of the awesome creative things people did to get around it would be gone, but so much more awesome stuff would happen. Plus we would never hear the infuriatingly stupid cries of "THINK OF THE CHILDREN!"

To see how AWFUL the future would be:
Nintendo. Nobody to make games popular after the crash. Gaming would pretty much never take off. I'm curious to see what kind of media would take it's place as the dominant for of entertainment. It most likely wouldn't be as good, though...

can it remove abstract concepts? like, for instance, 'ignorance'? it would be really nice if everyone just understood everything.

The crusades, the holocaust, the Spanish inquisition, the Salem witch trials, and the Muslim terrorists just to name a few

I'd have to remove Lying from the world.

Think 'The Invention of Lying' and just like in that movie, whenever people told the truth it wouldn't hurt people's feelings.

The universe/multiverse. Good game, potential bad guys. I just took the cake.

Maybe religion, though. Then I could confirm of deny my suspicions about how useful it really is.

Another runner up would be poverty. Though that might make people lose motivation to work if they're never in poverty.

Might be abusing the rules a tiny bit, but. If I have a tool that can remove any kind of object, it should be a tool that can selectively, untraceably, and remotely destroy any (electronic or not) sound-generating device.

I need my quiet time. I do not want to ever hear repetitive background bass, it only makes me stressed and unable to focus. If I do hear it, be prepared to see my dark side. No, I've not at all been affected by this the past few days, or will be for the next few weeks.
