This [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/profiles/view] person. What a thorn on my side.
Had I not just scrolled back up through the other posts, you would have had me there. I just spent several minutes trying to think what I could have done. Well played indeed

OT: I'd be inclined to remove that device. Purely because I think that anything that gets changed would have huuuuuge ramifications. Unless we're saying that nothing else would change as a result of removing the item. In which case.....I don't really know. I think I may have to agree with the earlier post that said hypocrisy, I think the world would definitely be a better place without it

You really had me going for a minute there. I avtually thought I'd achieved something by pissing someone off in a severe way. :)

Imagine a world without hate? No I wouldn't think it would be a world of peace and love (afterall there still be greed and lies etc) but at least there should be no more trolls and what not unless there is a new form of troll that is not made from hate.
Trolls aren't made from hate, they are made for teh lulz.

Also...

I don't want anyone to take my ability to hate.
I'd hate not being able to hate.

Nickel. Not the money denomination, but the element.

It's annoying be allergic to a metal that gets used in items of clothing. I have to be careful with belt-buckles it I don't want to break out.

At the same time, it does allow me to put on a religious medallion and then freak gullible people out when it creates a rash. After that happens you can complete the image by speaking in gibberish and explaining what activities their mothers participate in the afterlife.

Rap. Just rap.
I recommend looking beyond MTV.

OT: Religious people that don't want to consider anything but a 2000 year old book.
MTV isn't even close to "music television," most of the time they're showing crappy drama-series. The same goes for... well, any 'music'-channel. It's quite sad, really.
Also, rap is there with or without MTV, and it's just as crappy anyway.

Also, I agree.

Multi national supermarkets, a la Walmat, Tesco, Asda etc.

They are ruining the town centres, many small retail businesses, don't add to the local economy, I hate their guts (Although not enough to refuse to shop there, a hypocritical man has to eat.)

Hmmm, a very tough decision. I would want fossil fuels to disappear forever. Simply because then our technology would have went a hell of a lot slower and we would have had to make cleaner technology because that would have been the only alternative.

You *****.

OT: I'd eliminate STDs. I want a world where you can just have casual sex without the fear that you're going to wake up with an itch that will never leave.

Hmmm... I don't know. There's just so many things that I hate that it's impossible to choose which one I would benefit from the most if it was gone.

Is it possible for me to lump everything together and remove "Things I hate"?

If not, then I'd hold the entire world ransom. Hire some scientists to study the thing and get me some definite proof that the device does what it does. Show it to all the world leaders, and say if they don't meet my demands then I make their countries cease to exist.
Of course I'd have to leave out the "only one use" bit. Since the device completely removes the existence and history of something I'll make up the name of some country and say I got rid of it. Then make up some story about how since I used the device I can still remember what I got rid of.

Maybe I'm thinking about this a little too hard.

Won't in the slightest. You're blaming a book for human nature.
The crusades, the holocaust, the Spanish inquisition, the Salem witch trials, and the Muslim terrorists just to name a few
So Muslim terrorists are basing their actions on the Christian Bible...
