You have full armour on so basically the sniper bullet can't penetrate both sides, it hits your armour breaks through, breaks apart through your body, then fails to penetrate to the other side.

An ELECTRO-MAGNET has to be on because it is ridiculously stronger than a normal one, see those huge crane things used in junkyards to pickup scrap metal? 100 times that strong, having it on all the time would mean everything metal within half a kilometer is attatched to you all the time.

Halo mechanics does not equal real life mechanics, My snipers used hollow point bullets. which expand on entry reducing penetration but increasing internal tissue damage. See plastic tipped bullets.
So basically it can get into you but can't get out.
