So I have a question escapists you have been kidnapped. You wake up and on both sides of you is your best friend and your worst enemy all of you are tied up with steel cable. A man is standing in front of you and tell you, you have the choice to choose which one lives and which one dies but there is a catch if you choose your enemy then your family dies but you and your best friend go free but if you choose your best friend than your family is safe and your enemy and you go free so what would you choose the life of your best friend or the life of your family.

Considering I'm not all to fond of my family I would have to go with worst enemy.

My mother and father, while important to me, are losses I could deal with over time. My 6 year old brother, however, I could not. He is the only thing in the world I couldn't live without, and he's the reason I've not sent myself to the earthworm feast.

Bye bye, best friend.

I have no idea who my mortal enemy is at the moment...so it depends I guess

EDIT: Or wait, could I pick one of my old best friends who I totally hate now and get him killed instead of my current best friend?

My best friend. I can always find a way to do in my worst enemy later.

I'd kill my enemy. The death of my family is a fortunate bi-product - icing on the cake.

Well my best friend is a pathological liar who I am falling out with a lot lately so I'd probably save my family.

Family goes first, always.

So that is the choice I would have made.

Not that it would have been easy though.

you see this doesn't work for me because steel melts when it touches me... I dont know why its something i've had to deal with since I was a kid.
rope on the other hand... kill the friend. I found out the other day that he's kind of a fan of twilight so he's already dead to me.

This dichotomy to choose the lesser of two evils would not be a situation I would ever need to face, as far as I can imagine. In a video game setting I would probably choose the death of my friend in order to save my family; he or she would be able to assist in this decision by consent whether or not it was justified. By whatever means I deem appropriate I would exact a reaction towards the enemy myself.
