Karl Marx. Brilliant thinker and maybe we could revise his manifesto or try to make communism actually work.

I'd probably talk to Gilgamesh. He was one of the first kings in all of history, having ruled roughly 3800 in Uruk, one of the first cities.
Nice. Fifth king but the first one we know about. Probably would have been quite bland though as a king is a king and he would have just been one of the types who got the power. First king would be more interesting in my opinion as he made possibly one of the first transitions to actually grab power, and form a monarchy.

Personally I'd chose Sun Tzu - the "Wu Chinese" mastermind super General :p Author of the "Art of War".

This man... just... wow... the pool and depth of knowledge he must have would be astounding. He would be able to adapt to many many many military situations and... I can't think of many better people.

I'd go to the beginning of time, and take photographic evidence, that no god was there.

I'll have to work on my snapping speed though, I heard the expansion of the universe from the singularity is kinda nippy.

I'd want to shoot the shit with Lennon, personally. I have a lot of questions I'd like to ask him about his life and his work.

probably Gandhi, my favorite person from history. I would also like to know what it was that compelled him to nuke my country.

Tesla. That man has the most smoldering bedroom-eyes gaze in every photo and a classy mustache to boot.

I would pick Socrates. In my opinion it was the smartest, ballsiest person who had ever existed. He is about as close as I get to breaking the Bible's 2nd commandment.

The five most influential to me. Sorry, can't narrow it down to just one...

1. Yeshua Christos
2. King Charlemange
3. Manfred Von Richtofen
4. Field Marschall Erwin Rommel
5. Scipio Africanus

I assume that we can communicate with this person, yes? Free of misinterpretations? Cause not many people here speak prehistoric languages.

Adolf Hitler. Whenever I say I can't in good conscience hate him, people give me funny looks.

I'd want to see if he was as big a dick as he's been made out to be. Was he an anti-semitic pedophile like my 8th grade teacher told us, or was he a decent guy who gets a bad propaganda rap from the winning side? Something in between, or completely beyond? Without meeting him for myself, I say, I can't claim approval or disapproval.

Either that or the historic Jesus, for similar reasons on the opposite end of the spectrum.

Horatio Nelson? A pleasure to meet you good sir. Now lets discuss what you were thinking about during your moments on the Victory lunging towards the enemy fleet's line at Trafalgar.

Rasputin right before he was murdered, that way I could watch everything that went down. I'd also like to be able to collect evidence samples and bring them back to test.

Hitler, like to hear his side of the story.

I'm NOT a nazi!
^^I agree on this one actually
it would be nice to hear why he hated and did what he did who knows what he might respond with
I haven't read it myself, but you might want to try reading Mein Kampf if you're interested in what was going on in Hitler's head.

Plus it's much cheaper than time travel XP
I know about the book but a book cant compare to a person saying it straight from the mouth is what I ment

I would very much like to meet Diogenes of Sinope, quite possible the wisest and most honest of all philosophers.
Just checking... is that the same as Diogenes the Cynic, the guy who lived in a barrel?

Of course, you'd have to stop him from shooting the French fans. I can just imagine him sizing them up and fearlessly shouting 'Big fuckers, aren't you?!' (or whatever the turn of C19th equivalent was).

I'd love to go on a drink and drugs binge with Hemingway, Bukowski, Dylan Thomas, Raymond Chandler and Hunter S. Thompson. Let the streets of Paris quake beneath our merry feet.

I probably wouldn't survive the inevitable bar fight though.
