OT: X-Men Origins: Wolverine

Special mention to the CG claws in the bathroom scene. Fucking Lord did that look like dog shit. X-Men: First Class was pretty terrible as well. The only thing in that movie that didn't look like crap were Beast's feet.
No shit, when I first saw those I thought they were hand drawn, like Who Framed Roger Rabbit. And I'm still not entirely convinced they weren't.

OT: The Expendables

Why did they CGI bullet wounds? Gib packs are neither difficult, nor expensive, and they don't look like ass. Another one is Event Horizon. Fantastic movie; one of my favorites, but the CGI has aged woefully. I know it was good for the time, but watching it today, the CGI does not hold up, but one of the worst offenders in my opinion has to be Watchmen. They spent millions of dollars on dick physics, but neglected to notice Dr. Manhattan's mouth moves like Howdy-Fuckin'-Doody. You gotta wonder what the thought process was there.

Snyder: OK his dick has to look and move perfectly!
CGI Guy: What about his lips?
Snyder: Who looks at a persons lips? The trouser meat's where everybody's eyes gonna be.

I would advice against quoting Cracked for truth but OK, I'm ready to believe some people think it's a satire and didn't consider it a total waste of time while others think it's not because hey, maybe it's not.
It's definitely a cult movie. You either love it or hate it. I am in the former while you're in the latter so yeah, not really much point in arguing further.

And nobody's mentioned the bat-rat-spider-crab-marionette from The Angry Red Planet yet?
Granted the rest of the film's effects are terrible as well but this part takes the cake.

Classic Doctor Who has always had dodgy special effects.
But this has got to be one of the worst.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. It had some pretty bad cgi in some spots. Azog looked fucking awful.
The CGI in both Hobbit movies is unforgivably bad.

How the fuck does that even happen and make it into the movie?
They did those scenes only a few months before the movie came out. I imagine that had some negative effects on the quality.
