Actually you'll be happy to know Samurai Jack sort of IS coming back. They're doing a movie to wrap it up. Gendy is writing and directing it IIRC and I believe J.J. Abrams is producing it. I'm not sure if it'll be theatrical or straight to DVD but supposedly that is in the works.

Frankly, I'm not holding my breath. That thing has been in the works for a VERY long time. I'm pretty sure I posted something similar to this last year, and someone else told me the exact same thing.

Show me a trailer for said movie, and I'll be as giddy as a schoolgirl. Till then, the show is still dead and unfinished in my eyes.

I suppose I could pick a series that was cancelled before it's time, such as Firefly, but the series I'd really like to see again was not cancelled, but rather had its rightful conclusion years ago.

They ended the series proper. It's over. I accept that. But what I would like to see is how the characters have grown since that time, sort of a "where are they now" special. Daria was a special thing for me growing up. It was one of the few TV shows that me and my dad liked to watch together, whereas nowadays we don't even talk.

I'm not asking for a full reboot. I just wanna know how the misery chick is faring.

Kyle XY. While it was hard to see other shows go, this was especially painful as the network pretty much sandbagged the show by not advertising what turned out as its last season. Seriously, the last season they moved the show to a completely different date and time and didn't tell anyone.

Yes it is. I actually got teared up watching the robot die. It had what, 30 minutes of screen-time and I'm already attached to it.

It had better bloody character development then the poxy movie!!! Diz was actually fairly sweet in the show.

She was, and Dizzy's role of a love interest was more than just a love interest. It actually made me care less about the fact that she's a guy in the book.

But with a better writing team, though. That show's premise had a great deal of opportunity that was squandered.

The only rule is that you aren't allowed to bring back shows that have already had legitimate endings (like you can pick Scrubs: Med School, but not Scrubs with the main cast)

I would probably bring back My Name is Earl just because I loved that show and I am really sad that it was cancelled on a cliffhanger. Even if it only got one more season, I'd love to see a finale come out of it.

Lie to Me(starring Tim Roth), was the greatest show ever put on television. It was so damn interesting how facial recognition worked, plus Tim Roth is awesome, plus the show actually gripped me by the throat with drama.

The show was so good that I stopped watching TV after it was cancelled.
