Tetris. All the world will be united under one banner. Soon, no one will worry about race or religion. Only beating their high score in Tetris. We will unify the world and unite under one banner.

Our legislators will write bills by stacking letter blocks.
Our war will be forgotten; all sports will become stacking battles.
Our anthem will ring in the hearts and minds of all.
We shall tell tales of our unified world's great hero--Line Piece.

Doo, doot do doo, da-doot-doo doo, doot da-doo, doot doot doo, da doot da doo doo doot.

SimCity 4, so EA could be convinced of the wisdom of greenlighting and creating a proper SimCity 5.

COD: Black Ops for PC. Think about it; the game with the highest production cost sells the best; so gaming projects become bigger, creating more programming industry jobs, and resulting in generally more money to throw around in the industry. Black Ops isn't a BAD game in itself anyway, I liked it. And I made it for PC because consoles hold graphics tech back and I like me some pretty pixels :]

Tetris.

Build the wall, like in Soviet Russia.
Have many people gotten to the spaceship blast-off after the 100,000 point mark in the gameboy tetris? Ive asked my friends about it but apparently they suck at games..

I wouldn't pick any, because I don't think it's morally right to force someone's opinion.
I agree, Taco. This just tickles my morality bone in all the wrong ways.

Rapelay.

Sorry, but it would be hilarious. Can you imagine Extra Credits lauding how good Rapelay is in this strange universe?

I'm going to say Quest 64. Not because I think it's a terrific game (oh heavens no). I enjoyed it, but it was definately a rather poor game. I just wonder what the effect on the gaming industry would have been if Quest 64 became the most popular RPG of the time, rather than FFVII which came out not too long after.

Final Fantasy Tactics. It is in my opinion with out a doubt the greatest video game story told, and the last good final fantasy game.

fittingly enough, the two games I had in mind when entering this thread were Alan Wake and Star Wars Republic Commando. Two very underrated gems, imo, that deserved far more attention than they got. If I had to pick one...I'd say Mount and Blade: Warband (seewhatIdidthere?), just so the devs would be able to get a proper budget for the sequel, and maybe make it look just a tad bit less ugly. Just a little.
