We all have to a favorite way to spend our free time. Some might enjoy picking up a video game, reading some books, etc. So this thread is pretty basic, but we need some joy up in this place. So, what's your favorite way to pass the time?

Mine nowadays is watching streams from my favorite streamers on Youtube. I've already gone through all of their videos twice and I still laugh at almost everyone. The channel is just the best thing ever, three guys play games for an hour, crack jokes, and usually just enjoy themselves. While I'm watching this I may pop up a manga to read, or maybe even play a visual novel.

I tend to go through phases with my free time. Right now I'm in a big gaming mood, if I'm not on this website I'll probably be playing Tales of Xillia or Final Fantasy XIV: ARR.

Other times I'll read novels, listen to music, watch anime or maybe go for a walk. Depends on what I'm feeling at the time.

Write and think of story ideas while listening to music. Or play the piano.

Failing either of those, DOTA 2.

Of course, I suspect I won't have much time to pass once school starts back up...

I've been reading a lot more latley, due to getting an E-reader

what with Borders going under there was only one bookstore left in my imediate area, I go there now and ira eather best selling fodder, crime, or a sci fi/fantasy section that has no sci fi..with an e reader its really convinient to get books I actually want to read, and I don't even mean obscure stuff...

I generally like sci fi and general lit...can't do fantasy though, I'm not sure why, I think mabye those genres (like sci fi) base a lot of the appeal on setting, and quite frankly such settings bore me, theres this book called Queen of the Tearling which in theory I should like (a young bookish girl having to take her throne admist a politcal shitstorm...but not too depressing) yet I just can't do it because its fantasy

I;ve been meaning to get through the Honor Harrgington books though they've become a guilty pleasure...I get it David Weber...you don't like Dole Bludgers. I think latley though I've been reading more "literary" stuff so a lot of sci fi comes across as "telly" and not "showy" which isn't always bad though

I've recently discovered Sara Waters who seems to do historical fic that more often than not involves lesbians (but not in a romance novel boddice ripper way) I finished Fingersmith which was an awsome book set in victorian era about a girl raised in a house of theives taking part in a scheme (run by a con man aquiatance) to play maid to a lady to help in sending her to an asylum so they can steal her money...once the plot gets going it really gets going

I'm also working on writing and drawing but I can be hard to keep up motivation for that

I watch a lot of Youtube. Daily.

I follow the Yogscast (Sips, Sjin, and Lewis & Simon mostly), Game Grumps, TotalBiscuit, Jesse Cox, Continue?, Chip & Ironicus, Retsupurae, itmeJP, and our very own Jim Sterling and Yahtzee Croshaw. And I'm pretty much caught up with every video they've ever released (except JP and Jesse Cox, where I prioritize series' which seem interesting to me).

Lately I've also been reading a ton of comics. First time I've ever really gotten into them, and I started with a bunch of Batman and now it's blossomed out of control from there. It's only fitting that my descent into comic-book territory was brought about by Knightfall.

Also books. I've been going through a lot of my dad's classic sci-fi/fantasy books over the past few months, I'm currently almost finished with Arthur C. Clarke's Rendezvous with Rama, which is a damn fine story.

Please get here, Visa and Passport! You're my tickets out of here! D:

Other than that, I've become an expert of passing the time doing nothing. I should work on another language or exercising...

That's bringing back memories of when I was waiting for my laptop. I checked that shipping report religiously for any update pretty much every hour. You wouldn't believe how pissed I was when I missed it the first day. I'd also like to say you're doing a good thing with the aid stuff. Kudos, man. Are you still going to be posting here or are you being cut off?

I'd have to recommend you check out Inside Gaming, their one of Machinima's streamers. They're the guys I watch all the time and they're pretty damn funny.

I used to do a whole bunch of writing, I still do but I end up hitting stopping points in my writing. It doesn't help I get bored pretty easily, which results in about ten stories around ten pages each that I can't continue.

I either post on forums, play video games or go out to eat with friends. I occasionally read manga as well.

Out of all of them I play games the most. I fact I might spend a little too much time gaming by other peoples standards.

Russia has crazy-good Wi-Fi, so I'll be around for those three months. I dunno about Cambodia's Wi-Fi, but I'll come up with something.

And yes, I'm non-stop checking my email for info on my papers... even though they haven't been mailed yet.
I'VE BEEN TRYING TO GET THESE PAPERS FOR THREE MONTHS AND I ONLY HAVE TWO WEEKS LEFT AAAARGH

I watch people play videogames, because inviting my friends over is too hard, and playing them myself is too...

wait, hmm.

I read a lot. One of my favourite things to do is to read in bed with a gigantic bowl of popcorn.

Lately I've decided to pick up my art again (I hadn't drawn anything in almost 4 years), so occasionally I'll sit and draw while listening to music. Unfortunately I can't seem to draw anything without some sort of reference so half the time that I plan to actually draw is used finding the "perfect" reference.

I also enjoy playing Diablo which I only recently acquired.

If it's morning, then I read the same manga [as last time]...
If it's noon, I think of Adam West as Batman...
If it's afternnon, then I play a (video) game...
If it's evening, I write something random...
If it's night, I masturbate commentate over a "two-part" hentai OVA...
If it's neither, then I fall asleep... always "usually" on the ground...
(Results can and/or may vary...)

Other than that, I ponder why I haven't played "Game #Number" in a while/yet and/or wondering why I'm reading a [particular] thread if I have no need to comment on it, ESPECIALLY if I have (or had) no prior interest in said manner being "discussed" in the first place... (Damn my curiosity's timing at times...)

Currently? Dark Souls and backlogs.

Watching Rick and Morty atm, and boy: it's either the greatest classical tragedy ever made, or the best classical comedy ever made.

It also passes the time really well with its excellent 20 min run time.

Oh yeah, and I'm also re-watching Breaking Bad to go along with the theme of psychopathy set by Dark Souls.

Depends on the day but usually I listen to music. If I have a beer, I'll drink on.
On the weekends I play some games, I've been playing some Far Cry 3, it's pretty good.

I loved Tales Of Xillia, it's probably my favorite JRPG to date. Are you playing it because you're planing to play the second which just came out ? :)
I'm playing it because it was on sale on PSN and looked interesting :p

Really glad I picked it up though, it's super fun and addictive as hell. Just spoke to the King in Auj Ole, things are getting interesting!

Also I love the cosmetic customisation. Rowen is rocking a pair of sunglasses like a total boss.

This is a hobby I've been doing since I started high school, but making comic slide shows in Powerpoint. Whenever I don't have anything else to do, I'd boot up Powerpoint and make up stories and scenes using the curve and freeform shape tools. It's something I do to compensate my lack of a drawing tablet and poor flash skills.
