Hard Rock Hallelujah by Lordi, a kickass song but only one kickass song in a big backlog of kickass songs. So why the fuck do we always come back to Hard Rock Hallelujah? Type in Lordi into Youtube and the most frequent thing that comes up is Hard Rock Hallelujah. What about Man Skin Boots:

Where's the Dragon:

Chainsaw Buffet:

or Monster Monster?

So you know what, post your best songs noone gives the time of day for.

I came into this thread expecting a rant on Gangnam Style. Now I'm disappointed.

OT: Well, I'm not really sure as I don't frequent trance forums all that much, but for Above & Beyond, I think tracks like
and
deserves more recognition as genuinely amazing tracks.

I don't dislike their more popular tracks like "Good for Me" and "Can't Sleep", I just personally happen to enjoy their latest album a lot more and wish they'd get their time in the sun.

Actually, I have a better example, now that I think about it. I wish more people knew that Eric Prydz is much more and have made much, much better tracks than:

His awesome tracks include:
and

Since I love Metallica, it kind of annoys me whenever I bring the band up, and someone goes "Oh my god I love them! Enter Sandman rocks!!!" In my opinion, Enter Sandman is their most average song, and besides the cool intro, there's nothing too special about it. It's one of the weakest tracks from the Black Album to me.

But, I absolutely love some of their underrated stuff. Way more then some of their other songs, to the point where if the band ever came to my city and suddenly started playing one of them, I would be probably go bat-shit crazy and scream and headbang my ass off. For example, I give you The Shortest Straw, one of my favourite songs ever.

Glad to know I'm not the only one. :(

On topic, I quite like Seether, but it seems everyone I know in real life only knows about Fake It and/or Country Song. Despite those two being some of the weakest they've ever put out (in my opinion).

Whenever The Ramones come up, I almost always get people going "didn't they write the Spiderman theme song?" and "oh yeah, Hey Ho Let's Go right?"

Okay, 1: No, they did not write the Spiderman theme song, they just played a cover of it. 2: That song you're thinking of is "Blitzkrieg Bop". 3: "I Don't Wanna Grow Up", "I Wanna Be Sedated", "Pinhead", and "The KKK Took My Baby Away" are all great songs too! "Blitzkrieg Bop" is fine, but come on!

I saw Lordi in a magazine once, that is about all I have to contribute to this thread. I know nothing about them. Although they look like a demonic version of kiss.

Oh, as an added note, yeah I kind of agree with you. I really dislike "singles" and they don't make sense to me in the greater sense of everything. P, p, pointless, right?

No idea how to put video links in, but some songs that I like that no one I talk to has ever heard of are:

Bible Black - Heaven and Hell (DIO!!)
The Man Who Would Be King - Dio (people where I live need to learn who RJD is >:O)
Loose - Primer 55
Hall of the Mountain King - Savatage

Because they won Eurovision with it. This was something of a big deal, considering the shit that Eurovision normally gets.

It infuriates me that people only seem to know "Savior" by Rise Against even though it was the weakest song on the album. Entertainment was WAY better!

The Heavy (they did the borderlands 2 songs) make some of the best music I?ve ever heard it's such a shame that they aren?t popular.
They are amazing because they always have a different sound for each song.

(I can't get the videos to embedd so I will link to them)

Very true, Savior is ok, but many "Rise Against Fans" will jump at it when Appeal to reason is mentioned, but have never heard Kotov Syndrome or Elective Amnesia from the same album

Hurm I've got an inverse example. "Where is my mind?" is the only Pixies song I really like, can't seem to get into the rest of their stuff.

Nice to meet a fellow Lordi fan, Cojo, though of the songs you mentioned only Man Skin Boots would be a personal favourite of mine. I prefer:

I also rather like Who's Your Daddy though I sometimes feel like I fail at being a sensibly-minded woman for doing so. But really, it's just a song, it's not like I'm actually a fan of women being "put in their place." It's a little bit silly that they censor "*****," though, when lots of other things in the song are way more offensive:

Though the YouTube quality is pretty tragic compared to my CDs... I normally don't notice that compression stuff, but here it's really bad.

Because it was their song for Eurovision and quite possibly the only song by them a lot of people have heard.

Well notice anything here?

Yep we could likely thank that song for Who's Your Daddy.

I'll have to go with Du Hast by Rammstein. Outside of being kinda catchy, it's lyrics are pretty weak and repetative, which is the death blow, considering that Rammstein's lyrics are one of their best elements.
