You know what... I actually empathized with the nazis.

Yes you heard me. I felt that given the situation, they did everything that they needed to do and they did it valliantly. I mean its the year 2033, the entire earth is gone, the air itself is posin, the mutants kill without pity, and the communists are pressing at the line, the only line keeping humanity alive and well. So, despite common feeling, I actually supported their cause.

Haha misleading titles, I love those, but seriously, have you ever supported the armies of your enemies, if only in goal? As I already mentioned I did kind of support Metro 2033's nazi's but I also felt a common goal with the Master from Fallout 1. He just wanted to ensure life's survival via the better race, Super Mutants.
Admitidly that lead to many a death, but his intent was noble.
Drop a deuce! you had me for a moment there!!

Well... I sometimes feel sorry for the real Nazis (y'know, the ones that tried to win a war they already lost). I don't mean the infamous SS leaders and people like that (I think anyone who could formulate a scheme like they did is a worthless sociopath), but I think the ordinary German people and soldiers get too much blame.

To assume that every single person in Germany (or the German army) in the 1940s was evil is just... wrong. Blame the people who told them what to do, gave them thoughts that weren't their own, and caused the deaths of millions. The soldiers in the Nazi army were no different to the ones in any other army; the citizens of Nazi Germany were the same as the citizens of every other country in the world.
