Anyone here play fighting games on the ps3? Stuff like Blazblue or Persona 4 Arena is the extent of the multiplayer games I like.


I'm not much for shooty sporty or drivey games.

OT: Halo 3 is really the only game I play online anymore, and even that I only play every so often. Honestly I'm not sure why I pay for x-box live anymore, as I rarely use it. But if anyone wants to play with me, I don't normally have anything better to do.

I am open to play Battlefield at most times, but just be prepared for me to run around and C4 for the whole game. I'm partial to a bit of Gears sometimes and I will hop on Dark Souls if someone wants some help with a boss or to go some rounds in PvP. When Borderlands 2 comes out, I will be on that all the time so I will be open to a game.

I haven't got a chance to play the new mode yet, but I did enjoy horde style modes in other games, so I'm sure i'll mess around with it for a bit.

I would love to join or have other Escapists join me in TF2. I don't play multiplayer on Xbox or PS3 any (well...I was toying around in the ME3 multi for a bit, but not for months now), but this [http://steamcommunity.com/id/Ser_Fluffywuffles] is me on Steam. I'm in game most nights with my clanmates. We're a really friendly (and mostly adult) bunch and work hard to keep trolls and the other unwanted types out of our servers. But I check out other maps from time to time. Send a request (and you might want to send a message that you're an Escapist too).

Do you guys play competitively? I'm always top of my server in pubs (I was just on yours and took top pretty fast, name was Nemesis) And I've been thinking about joining a competitive clan.

We are not. We have a few people who are more than capable of comp-level play, but we try to focus more on having fun.

Edit: I should add that it's a weird time to judge our servers. A lot of our admins and regulars are messing around with MvM while it's fresh. And the level of play during normal times is more competitive much later in the day (7PM and on, pretty much).

We have three normal servers:
1 and 2 are both 24/7 2fort (yeah, I know. But they bring in a lot of players)
The third is a variety server. It's sort of our playground to set whatever map/game mode we want. It's mostly our members and regulars who join in there, so it's the most fun for me.

We also currently have a fourth and fifth server running for MvM, but just for our donators and admins.

Since my right mouse button is currently unreliable at best, that means I can't currently play League of Legends. Or a large number of other games. On the other hand, I also haven't had any decent excuse to start playing Touhou again...

I gave up on the whole multiplayer thing last weekend for two reasons

1: Crappy internet connection
2: Prepubescent screamers

I may return to it later (Assassin's Creed III may tempt me back)

Right now I'm enjoying Persona 2 so much. I love the oldschool game BS over the bland streamlined hollywood action movie games. I'm weird and would rather get lost than be forced down a linear corridor with no exploring.

Who said all compelling games are hollywood action or linear corridors? Or are you just picking the 70% bad games these days? I can at least agree with that. But don't judge me that my investment in storyline comes from Gears of War 3 or FF 13.

I don't know, it wasn't me. I didn't say anything about compelling games, the story, or good and bad games or judge anyone. I said old games have X, new games have Y and I like X more (assuming they games are on the same level, like both considered good or bother are bad.) If not I'll like the better one.
