Humanity. No really. As a whole humanity is capable of many great things but instead ALL OF US spend our time worrying only about ourselves and what makes us as individuals happy. We constantly destroy everything around us and those few that attempt to prevent this destruction are mocked and are considered outcasts of society. Our numbers constantly swell and we spread over the planet like a cancer, steadily devouring everything in our path.

Yet as individuals I only have a problem with the particularly stupid, the self obsessed, and the arrogant. Simple things like the inability to solve the most rudimentary problems of daily life make me so VERY ANGRY.

And if you haven't noticed I myself am a bit arrogant. ;D

1. When you're trying to watch a series online, like you're streaming Battlestar Galactica or whatever, and there are about 3 episodes that you cant find a working link for, that really pisses me off.

2. People who endlessly quote the most stupid, inane lines from TV shows & movies, especially when you're with a group of people who clearly do not get the reference.

3. This probably sounds petty but, people who don't take my advice, or even worse don't even consider it.

4. People who tell you to do stuff you were already planning to do, or when you're in the middle of something else they told you to do.

I hate being told I'm lucky to be able to play a musical instrument.

Do they seriously think I was able to play as well as I can (which is nothing special, mind) when I was in nappies? It couldn't have been anything to do with sixteen years of practice, could it?!

On a related note, I also have a distinct dislike for people who, after hearing me play quite a complicated piece (by my standards, at least), complain and demand that I "play something we know".

Is it any wonder that what remains of my faith in humanity is slipping away?

If someone tells me to play something they know I get extremely angry.

I'm all like, "WHAT? I just played [insert incredibly difficult and amazing song here] for you, and you want me to play something you KNOW?"

Certain friends of mine who I have known and cared about since I was 4, but have developed bigoted/opinionated/ignorant views of the world and expect me to agree with them.

There's one in particular. I've known him since before school, but these days he's the typical football hooligan-with-bigoted-political-views that I so detest. He goes out drinking with other friends of mine who I disagree with, and always thinks I'll back him up on his rants. And he so blatantly got into the drinking subculture because he has no friends otherwise. He keeps bringing up drink and sex in our conversations because he's programmed himself to mention them because his friends always talk about it too. And he's always talking to me about "We should go out drinking or come around (person I hate)'s house and we'll get shitfaced"

I always nod or pull a little grimace as required, but if I met him today and I hadn't known him all these years, I wouldn't only hate him, I would probably end up having a fight with him (and winning. I'm a weakling, but he's just pathetic. I own him even in mock fights)

While I'm on the subject of how I would beat him in a fight (I feel talkative tonight) Here's a story: One time, I was punching him in the arm after he ridiculed me for being a woose. He said "I bet you can't hurt me without using your head, hands or feet". His hand was on the table, I immediatly crushed it with my elbow. We still laugh about it, though he was screaming at the time.
